ELIX is moving to the digital age, responding to both the extraordinary conditions created by the COVID-19 pandemic crisis and the new data created by the use of technology in the field of education in recent years.

For these reasons, ELIX is uploading to a hub the podcasts prepared -and still do- by our team of trainers, in the context of the distant, online learning that we have been gradually include in our educational program "Learning for Integration Project", implemented with the support of UNICEF since 2017. You can find and listen to the files by using all the known podcast players.

ELIX, having supported the pilot implementation of the Akelius Language Course since 2018, both in urban and camps' learning centers, participated in the creation of the corresponding Manual for teachers (Teahers' Guidance Manual on Akelius Language Course).

Dear Prime Minister,

The organizations signing this letter have been engaged for many years in the field of human rights and humanitarian aid and are looking to you in the hope that you will intercede to resolve a very serious issue.

ELIX is now offering free jewelry making lessons. More specifically, participants will have the opportunity to learn various techniques for using and creating metal and polymeric jewelry.

ELIX successfully implemented the project “YOUth Exchanges for Diversity - #YEs4Diversity” over 2018-2019, with the financial support of the Erasmus+ programme.

The project included two Youth Exchanges and preparatory meetings (APVs) with the participation of 53 youngsters from Greece, Slovakia, Estonia, France, Italy, Germany and Spain.

In Tampere, Finland, the annual youth workers conference was held from 14 to 16 January 2020, with more than 2.700 youth workers.

The conference was organized by the Finnish National Youth Council, Allianssi, and offered interesting lectures, workshops, group discussions and other types of events for all youth professionals and volunteers.

The 5^th December was chosen by the United Nations in 1985 as the International Volunteer Day. Since then, people around the world celebrate the power and the potential of volunteerism on this date.

It’s a great opportunity for volunteers and organisations to share their values, raise awareness and promote their work.

The Council of Members of the European Youth Forum consisting of more than 104 organizations - International Non-Governmental Youth Organizations and National Youth Councils, took place from 21 to 24 November 2019 in Amiens, France, European Youth Capital for 2020.

ELIX participates in the project “Be the Change: conflict as a catalyst for transformation and empowerment”. The project is aiming at improving the skills and competences of European citizens to address their interpersonal conflicts, and work towards their transformation into learning, development and communication opportunities in order to facilitate relations and the development of an inclusive Europe.

ELIX’s Andres Santiago and Tilemachos Boni visited Paraguay from 18th to 25th August in order to participate in the workshop «Youth worker training in peace education» of the project «Building Bridges: Youth Work for Peace and Dialogue», a programme that we co-ordinate together with IFM-SEI.
