Since 2018, p²^multispace has been a unique meeting point in the heart of Athens – an open and inclusive space where people from all backgrounds came together to learn, express themselves, move, and build relationships.
For more than six years, we offered free activities, hosted seminars, youth exchanges, training programs, and welcomed visitors from abroad interested in learning more about refugee education in Greece.
p²^multispace became a home for activities that strengthened the body, mind, and community. Here are just some of the things that took place:
- English lessons (for beginners & advanced learners, 18+)
- Artistic and creative workshops (painting, ceramics, knitting, jewelry making)
- Board games & film screenings
- Sports and movement: Yoga, Capoeira, Aerobic, Kick Boxing
- Seminars and roundtable discussions
- Youth exchanges and educational training courses
- Clothes and book corners
- Adult vocational training and skills development
- Digital skills for future employment
- Group empowerment and psychosocial support
- Artistic and musical expression
- Dance workshops and film sessions
Thanks to the consistent support of private donors and the European Solidarity Corps, we managed to keep this space open all these years – despite many challenges.
But with a heavy heart, we now announce the permanent closure of p²^multispace.
Despite our best efforts, we can no longer maintain the financial sustainability of the space.
