ELIX organizes, co-ordinates and/or participates in awareness-raising campaigns and information actions on volunteering, civil society, social and intergenerational solidarity, environmental, cultural and educational issues in Greece and abroad.
Within the framework of international networking, ELIX also participates in meetings with her partners in the Alliance of Voluntary Service Organizations network.
In addition, ELIX takes part in information events held in schools, universities, festivals, public spaces etc, where interested parties can get all the necessary information regarding ELIX’s work, as well as for the choices given to participate in the magical world of volunteering.
ELIX has been continuously present in most corporate social responsibility conferences aimed at raising awareness on social, cultural and environmental issues in order to build partnerships and to create synergies for the benefit of vulnerable social groups.
Finally, ELIX participates in many collaborative schemes and networks in order to successfully implement actions with multiplying effects.

The campaign for clean coastal areas #EUBeachCleanup started on August 18, 2021 and has already raised the awareness of many Agencies, Municipalities, as well as volunteers. Since then, many similar events have been organized, both in coastal and inland areas around the world.

The 5th December was chosen by the United Nations in 1985 as the International Volunteer Day. Since then, people around the world celebrate the power and the potential of volunteerism on this date.
It’s a great opportunity for volunteers and organisations to share their values, raise awareness and promote their work.
ELIX hosts the international meeting of committees and working groups of the ALLIANCE of European Voluntary Service Organizations, with the participation of 17 international volunteer organizations-members of the network, from January 24th to 28th.
UN: Every 3 seconds a person is displaced by conflicts from his homeland. The number of refugees in the world due to conflicts increased to 65.6 million in 2016.
ELIX is participating to the actions for the World Refugee Day, today.
ELIX will participate in the 5th edition of Thessaloniki’s Festival of Multilingualism and has the pleasure to invite you to celebrate together with other NGOs, unions and local communities, the multiculturalism and multilingualism of the city of Thessaloniki, in order to contribute to the understanding of the dynamism generated by the intersection of cultures.
ELIX participated in the Astronomy Week, held from 3 to 10 May, under the Open Schools program of the City of Athens with the support of UNICEF.
Young and older students, accompanied by their parents and by ELIX's educational staff, were introduced to the mysteries of the universe, our solar system and the flash of the lights.
