Dråpen i Havet is collaborating with ELIX, the University of Bergen, and Second Chance School Kalamata to develop training modules and approaches tailored for educators and organizations working in adult refugee education. The goal of ILEARN is to enhance the quality of education, both internally and externally, by implementing modern methods and approaches. The project is supported through the ERASMUS+ Small-Scale Partnerships program.
This training course is designed to support individuals working or volunteering with displaced people in educational programs in Greece and Norway by enhancing their skills, encouraging knowledge sharing, and strengthening networks. Whether you are working directly teaching or indirectly in educational programs in the humanitarian sector this training is for you! Together, we aim to grow a vibrant community dedicated to education for our students.
The training course includes four core modules:
- Culture & Gender
- Integration & Empowerment
- Teachers, Curricula & Pedagogy
- Connection to Formal Education
Dates - July 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th (Tuesday - Friday)
Time - 9:00 - 17:00 (with breaks including snacks and refreshments)
Location - Training will be in-person, in the centre of Athens, Greece (address will be provided upon response to your application)
Cost - Training is totally free for participants!
