Dråpen i Havet is collaborating with ELIX, the University of Bergen, and Second Chance School Kalamata to develop training modules and approaches tailored for educators and organizations working in adult refugee education. The goal of ILEARN is to enhance the quality of education, both internally and externally, by implementing modern methods and approaches. The project is supported through the ERASMUS+ Small-Scale Partnerships program.
The next ILEARN training session will take place at the Solidarity Now Center in Thessaloniki. We are truly grateful to our colleagues at Solidarity Now for opening their doors and look forward to filling the space with energy, learning, and exchange.
We have developed training modules and educational methods tailored for teachers and organizations involved in adult education for refugees.
Are you working in formal or non-formal education with adults from displacement backgrounds? Whether you're a teacher, volunteer, or community educator, this training is designed for you!
Our goal?
To equip you with innovative, inclusive and practical tools to build empowering learning environments for refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants.
You’ll join a dynamic network of educators from across Europe — sharing experiences, insights, and ideas that truly shape the learning journey of adult students.
The training course includes four core modules:
- Culture & Gender
- Integration & Empowerment
- Teachers, Curricula & Pedagogy
- Connection to Formal Education

Training will be in-person.
Dates - September 23rd, 24th, 25th & 26th (Tuesday - Friday)
Time - 9:00 - 17:00 (with breaks including snacks and refreshments)

Cost - The training program will be offered free of charge.
