Youth Exchange in Saint-Denis based on European Citizenship and Integration through Sport with French and Italian volunteers
Description: The main goal of this project was to create a feeling of European Citizenship between two groups from popular district of Paris and Roma and to sensitize them to Integration through sport and to the intercultural meeting.
Methodology: We worked with a youth structure of Saint-Denis. It was the occasion for the young participants to think about Europe and the intercultural meeting. During this exchange, they worked on European Citizenship trough workshop of Forum Theatre and built a play with the participation of the inhabitants of Saint-Denis. They also participated to workshop based on sport for disabled people and participated to football training with excluded people.
Targets groups: The young participants with fewer opportunities but also the inhabitants of Saint-Denis thanks to intercultural evenings and a final representation of the Forum-Theatre.
