DeAmicitia is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation inscribed in the Spanish National Associations Register since 1998. No. 164471 Tax No. G82128281 created in 1998.
DeAmicitia started as team of environmental lawyers who work to defend the environment and give legal advice on environmental issues although now is working more on rural development projects and not so much on the legal cases.
This service is primarily aimed at NGOs and other private or public organizations that want to protect the natural and rural environment. We support our cases and projects by engaging in constructive condemnation and environmental restoration activities, especially through our international workcamps and exchanges. Therefore we use workcamps and other actions as tools to raise public awareness and promote change.
We also organise trainings in leadership and we work actively with the Youth Program, action 1, 2 and 4, E4C and other activities to promote rural and local development including participation of people with less opportunities from rural areas and promoting the Aarhus Convention on environmental democracy.
