ΤΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ EVS ΚΑΛΥΠΤΕΙ…
1. γλωσσική και πολιτισμική κατάρτιση
2. το μεγαλύτερο μέρος τους κόστους ταξιδιού, ανάλογα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση, μετάβασης στη χώρα του προγράμματος και επιστροφής από αυτή
3. διαμονή, διατροφή και ένα μηνιαίο επίδομα των 115€
4. ασφάλιση υγείας για το διάστημα της εθελοντικής υπηρεσίας
5. χορήγηση πιστοποιητικού που θα βεβαιώνει τη συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα
6. υποστήριξη μετά την επιστροφή για την αξιοποίηση της εμπειρίας σας.

We are looking for 2 EVS volunteers for a project approved in France starting next January.
The project will lasts for 8 months and should start on September 2016.
The partner organisation
The communauté de communes de Sor et Agout is an oragnisation that provides services to an area of 26 villages with around 24.000 inhabitants. Its main aim is to animate the region in proposing projects, actions and activity for young people between 3 and 17: trips, outdoor activities, workcamps, financial support for the first holidays,… It also helps young people getting their diploma to work in the youth field (BAFA).
The organisation receives young international volunteers and introduces them to the youth of the region to foster multiculturalism and give them the idea and the motivation to travel and volunteer abroad and discover other cultures.
Work
Volunteers will have their basis in the Community of Municipalities and Sor Agout, the headquarter and main leisure center is located in the municipality of Saix.
The main tasks will be:
1. Preparing activities for children:
1.1. After school activities: sports, arts and crafts, culture…
1.2. During school: presentations on several topics
1.3. Wednesdays and school holidays: animating activities for children between 3 to 17 (educational, manual, participation to youth trips, outdoor activities…)
2. Creating communication tools to inform the young people of the region about EVS, mobilities, training for young people, activities in the region, organisation of cultural activities with youth centers.
3. Volunteers will have time to develop their personal project if they wish.
4. They might also be formed in the field of cultural activities in the youth group coaching with a recognized diploma (BAFA).
5. For the period of the summer holidays, volunteers will support the activities of the leisure center, based on leisure they choose, or go with our teams and our young people to short vacation trips (Monday to Friday) with the themes: sea, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, adventure, multi-sports, reality TV game a.o.
About the French language level
The French level does not need to be very high. Volunteers will always work in a team with French instructors. On arrival, volunteers will have the time needed to get comfortable with the language or at understand what is said in the courses and supported to take part in the process.
Requirements
1. to be between 18 and 30 years old
2. to be ready to work with children and teenagers
3. to have at least a basic level of French language
4. to have a valid driving license (at least one of the volunteers)
About the accommodation
The home of the volunteers is a apartment in the village of Soual, 5 minutes from the leisure center. The apartment of about 60m2 big with two bedrooms, fully equipped and with all the comfort needed to accommodate two people.
Volunteers will use the car and bicycles to get from the apartment to the school, the leisure centre and the MJC in Saix.
Saïx is a small village of around 3.000 inhabitants situated in the South West of France. It is 10 minutes away from the city of Castres and an hour from Toulouse.
There are a lot of other nice cities to visit in the area: Perpignan, Carcassonne, Montpellier, Narbonne or Beziers and it is also not very far from Spain and Andorra.
The regional natural park of Languedoc is also very close if you like nature and hiking.
South West of France is an area full of history where you can still find a lot medieval villages and regional dialects, a delicious and typical gastronomy, and beautiful nature. The weather is warm in summer and mild in winter.
