Η ΕΛΙΞ σας προτείνει ένα προγράμματα περιβαλλοντικής εκπαίδευσης EVS στην Πολωνία με την οργάνωση “EKOSKOP” στην πόλη Rzeszów. Το πρόγραμμα θα ξεκινήσει άμεσα τον Μάιο του 2016.
Αναλυτικότερα για τα προγράμματα:
Main aim of the project is raising environmental awareness of citizens in Central Subcarpathian region. We educate children, youth and adults about native biodiversity, doing workshops at Subcarpathian Center of Environmental Education and at schools. Workshops will be lead by trainers of EKOSKOP and by volunteers. During this activities children will have possibility to get to know different species of animals and plants from our region, their role in nature and ways to protect them.
TASKS OF THE VOLUNTEERS:
1. Documenting biodiversity of central Subcarpathian (e.g. making collections of insects, feathers, plants and others)
2. Preparing and leading workshops for children and adults
3. Preparing educational campaign about wildlife around the house
4. Making own mini-project, connected with nature and ecology
5. Participating in nature-trips (around Rzeszów by bicycle and to National Parks by car)
6. Helping to prepare workshops (e.g. carying equipment)
7. Cleaning office
accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accommodation in the flat next door to Subcarpathian Center of Environmental Education, flat consist: kitchen, bathroom, living room and 2 bedrooms (you will share bedroom with 1 more person), balcony and attic.
Volunteers cook and make shopping for themselves, using montly allowance. Transport to the office not needed. In case work is far away transport will be provided. Volunteers have bicycles to use for their need (or if they have to get somewhere in the city). There is just one condidtion: they need to take care for it, as for equipment in the flat and in the office (don't destroy it ;)

4. Good practice of birdwatching
5. Work safety rules
Volunteer is obliged to participate as well in training cycle provided by Polish National Agency.

For this vacancy we are searching male (due to the gender balance and accomodation issues) candidates from EU countries (preferably NOT Spain and France - as we have already volunteers from this country and want to provide diversity).
Perfect age: 21-30 y.o.
We search someone interested in wildlife and ecology. It is also important to be able to work with kids (experience not required).
