Σε συνεργασία με την Ρουμανική οργάνωση Lumea lui Pinocchio η ΕΛΙΞ έχει εξασφαλίσει για εσάς μια θέση για το εξάμηνο πρόγραμμα EVS “Activ8 Competences” στην πόλη Panciu της ανατολικής Ρουμανίας. Το πρόγραμμα θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τον Μάρτιο 2019 μέχρι τον Αύγουστο 2019.
Μαζί με άλλους δύο εθελοντές από την Ιταλία και από την Τσεχία, ο εθελοντής/η εθελόντρια θα έχει την ευκαιρία να ετοιμάσει και να υλοποιήσει, μαζί με τους διοργανωτές, εκπαιδευτικές δράσεις για παιδιά και να συμμετέχει επίσης στις συντονιστικές συναντήσεις του οργανισμού φιλοξενίας και του εκπαιδευτικού τομέα.
Ο εθελοντής/η εθελόντρια θα μπορέσει να υποστηρίξει το γραφείο της οργάνωσης φιλοξενίας, για την επικοινωνία και την προώθηση διαφημιστικού υλικού, graphics, για την σύνταξη και δημοσίευση άρθρων για την ιστοσελίδα της οργάνωσης, και των αναρτήσεων για την σελίδα Facebook. Επίσης, θα μπορέσει να βοηθήσει στην διοργάνωση εκδηλώσεων ευαισθητοποίησης σχετικά με τον εθελοντισμό και την ενεργή συμμετοχή.

Project title: “Activ8 Competences”
Location: Panciu (Vrancea, Romania)
Period: March 2019 - August 2019
Duration of mobilities: 6 months
Hours / days of service per week: 35 hours a week - 5 days of service. Free weekends.
Benefits for volunteers: travel costs' coverage (on the basis of the „distance calculator” of the European Commission); board and lodging; health insurance; monthly allowance for food and pocket money; Romanian language course during the first months of service; support of a local mentor; specific training for the project and for volunteers' individual activities.
Requirements: age 18-30 (30 + 364 days at the moment of the project's submission); basic English knowledge and strong motivation to volunteer. In addition, for the volunteers of the educational sector, previous experience in the educational field, better if with disadvantaged children, is required; possible previous experiences/competences in the IT, graphical and promotional fields are preferable if the volunteer wants to help for the dissemination of hosting organization's activities.

After the pre-selection process with their sending organization candidates will have a Skype interview with Lumea lui Pinocchio's coordinator.
Board and lodging: volunteers will live in a traditional house that the Association Lumea lui Pinocchio earmarks for their hospitality and they will share the accommodation with other international volunteers. The house is simple and is located just a few meters from the headquarters of Asociatia Lumea lui Pinocchio and the Daily Centre Pinocchio where volunteers carry out their volunteering activities. Volunteers will take care of the house cleaning and of meals' preparation. Food will be provided by the association, according to volunteers’ needs.
Activities: The project “Activ8 Competences” will include volunteers from different EU countries; basing on their interests and competences they will be involved in different socio-educational activities.
Socio-educational sector: the Daily Centre Pinocchio managed by Asociatia Lumea lui Pinocchio regularly hosts about 40 children, part of whom belongs to the Roma minority of Panciu. The volunteers involved in the educational sector, together with local staff, will prepare and carry out educational activities for children (afterschool, literacy, non-formal education, workshops on recycling, games, crafts, sports...) and they will also participate in the coordination meetings of the association and the educational sector.
A volunteer could also support some office activities for communication and promotion (creation of promotional material, graphics, drafting and publication of press articles, updating the association's website and Facebook profile, etc.), and for the organization of sensitization events to educate public on voluntarism and active participation.
