Η ΕΛΙΞ σε συνεργασία με την κυπριακή μη κυβερνητική οργάνωση Council of community volunteerism of Avgorou (SKE Avgorou) έχει εξασφαλίσει και σας προτείνει ένα πρόγραμμα EVS που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Κύπρο. Το πρόγραμμα αφορά νέους ηλικίας 18 με 30 χρονών.
Το πρόγραμμα θα ξεκινήσει την 1 Απριλίου 2014 και θα ολοκληρωθεί στις 30 Σεπτεμβρίου 2014 - διάρκειας 6 μηνών. Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι πρέπει να κάνουν αίτηση στην ΕΛΙΞ μέχρι τις 27 Φεβρουαρίου (δείτε στο τέλος του άρθρου).

Project Title: Go For EVS!!!
Project Duration: 8 months ( from 1/4/2014 to 30/09/2014)
Activity duration for Volunteers: 6 months.
Hosting and coordinating Organization: Council of community volunteerism of Avgorou (SKE Avgorou)
This Prοject will host 3 volunteers from three different countries, civilization, community, national environment for 8 months.
The program will be implemented in Avgorou Community, located in Famagusta district, Cyprus.
The aim of the Project is to give the opportunity to young volunteers from European and non European Community that want to offer their voluntary services by taking part in every program of our organization. In this way our Project promotes multiculturalism, fighting of racism and discriminations of sex, religion, culture, nation etc. Also with their integration and acceptance from the community it is developed the spirit of solidarity, between youth, the dialogue, between youth from different countries and civilizations, the exchange of cultures, cultural polymorph, is encouraged the social cohesion and finally is acquired the informal learning.
ROLE AND TASKS OF THE VOLUNTEER:
The subject of the Project is the voluntary work with infants, children, youth and elderly people of the community of Avgorou, aimed at improving the living standards. Achieving this goal will be to participate in all activities of the Programme with the employment, care and protection of infants, toddlers, preschool and school age and older. In addition they will have the opportunity to participate in organizing and implementing of sports events, and also other activities of the Organization and partners (organizing and attending seminars, workshops, community awareness).They will also have the opportunity to take initiative in applying the methods of implementation. With their involvement in this Project will acquire informal learning which is one of the main principles of EVS.
ΤΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ EVS ΚΑΛΥΠΤΕΙ: γλωσσική και πολιτισμική κατάρτιση, το 90% των εισιτήριων μετάβασης στη χώρα του προγράμματος και επιστροφής από αυτό, διαμονή, διατροφή και ένα μηνιαίο επίδομα της τάξης των 95 ευρώ, ασφάλιση υγείας για το διάστημα της εθελοντικής υπηρεσίας, χορήγηση πιστοποιητικού που θα βεβαιώνει τη συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα, υποστήριξη πριν και μετά την επιστροφή για την αξιοποίηση της εμπειρίας σας.
