Η ΕΛΙΞ σε συνεργασία με την Stowarzyszenie Promocji Wolontariatu - FIYE Poland - στην Πολωνία προτείνει ένα πρόγραμμα EVS για 5 μήνες.

Περιγραφή προγράμματος
Host organisation: Stowarzyszenie Promocji Wolontariatu - FIYE Poland (2011-PL-11)
Volunteers tasks:
- to organise (work out a concept, promote and run) meetings promoting international voluntary service for Polish youth such as "open day" in SPW-FIYE offices, presentation at fairs of international voluntary service, meetings in schools, at universities, in places where workcamps take place etc.;
- to make documentation (according to volunteers' abilities and creativity: photos, videos, interviews, activities on facebook and our website) of SPW-FIYE workcamp season;
- to prepare and conduct a survey among SPW-FIYE campleaders "how did the experience of leading a workcamp affected your life?" and work out materials promoting being a campleader;
- to lead one workcamp as a co-leader.
Volunteer's profile:
- an active, creative, communicative and outgoing person ready for challenges,
- the person should possess good organisational and social skills and ability to work independently,
- good knowledge of English,
- interest in media, PR and organising events will be an advantage
- photography/video/graphic skills will be an advantage
Learning opportunities:
- acquiring knowledge about the most popular forms of international voluntary service in Poland: workcamps and European Voluntary Service,
- gaining experience in running promotional activites (organisation of various events, different ways of promotion),
- developing communication and management skills,
- getting to know the character of work of a small ngo.
Practical arrangements:
- accommodation in a shared room with a bathroom and kitchen facilities,
- food allowance (400 PLN/month),
- work partly in SPW office with experienced and enthusiastic staff:), partly on workcamps in international environment.
