The best practice examples address different challenges in promoting active participation of all European citizens and the possibilities to take action NOW as well as to empower partner organisations and their beneficiaries.

ZUSAMMEN LEBEN is a program from Grenzenlos since 2010 and it’s done in cooperation between Grenzenlos and Interface (funded by the city of Vienna- Ministry of Integration and Culture - MA 17).
How did all started: In 2009, Grenzenlos saw the need to develop more local programs in order to have a more direct impact in the Austrian community as well as the communities living in Austria.
The Café Global Local was a multicultural place in the middle of the 7th district of Budapest, designed, created and run by the participants from Réunion island (France) and Hungary.
One of the core activities of TE IS is organizing and implementing summer camps for children and youth (target group: 6-18 years old children and youth, 10 days).
Participants are coming from Budapest and all over Hungary, children with fewer opportunities also included.

Description: Two volunteers worked during one year with Concordia to build a local of animation for children and teenagers of this district. The main purpose is to promote citizenship and respect in this neighbourhood around cultural and social activities.

Description: One German volunteer worked during one year on the project of rehabilitation of a station of deportation which the main goal was to create events on the evolution of the links between France and Germany. The project is born from the will of the City-Hall of Bobigny to develop their heritage and their links with the European Union and more particularly with Germany.
