H ΕΛΙΞ σε συνεργασία με τον Κυπριακό Οργανισμό Κέντρων Νεότητας σας προτείνει ένα πρόγραμμα EVS για 2 άτομα, διάρκειας 6 μηνών, από 3/4 έως 30/09/17.

Participants' Profile
- Age: 17-30 years old
- Youth workers/ Volunteers/ Active members in a youth organisation

- Knowledge of the English language is a must
Aim of the project
The development of the competences of the volunteers and the capacity building of the Youth Clubs.
Objectives
- To increase young people's skills through the practical experience of
volunteering abroad;
- To encourage the learning of another language;
- To develop the ability of interaction with persons of different language and culture;
- To spread tolerance among young people of the European Union;
- To promote active citizenship;
- To support the development of local communities and
- To disseminate the European values.
Duties of the volunteers
- To support local volunteers who are familiar with the specific local needs, such as youth leaders and young volunteers.
- To gather European documentation and produce informational material.
- To support the European Projects Manager in certain tasks.
Travel Cost
The project is financed by the ERASMUS+ Programme.
The travel cost is reimbursed according to the European distance calculator:
France (2000 - 2999km) = €360, Italy (2000 - 2999km) = €360 and Greece (500 - 1999km) = €275
Other Expenses
- Food and accommodation is FREE.
- A monthly allowance of 110 euros will be given to the volunteers.
- Insurance is provided by the Cyprus Youth Clubs Organisation.
- Greek Lessons will also be provided to the volunteers for FREE- online.
Outcome
The volunteers will acquire
- communication skills,
- social skills,
- self-confidence,
- better knowledge of the field of Youth,
- enhancement of their creativity skills,
- time management and team work
At the end of their service they will receive a YOUTHPASS CERTIFICATE and a RECOMMENDATION LETTER
