Η ΕΛΙΞ αναζητά συνεχώς το καλύτερο ανθρώπινο δυναμικό για τη στελέχωση των προγραμμάτων που υλοποιεί, κρίνοντας την κάθε αίτηση βάσει των προσόντων που απαιτούνται για την αντίστοιχη θέση και με βάση την αρχή των ίσων ευκαιριών.
Η ΕΛΙΞ επιφυλάσσεται να απαντήσει ηλεκτρονικά ή τηλεφωνικά μόνο στην αξιολόγηση εκείνων των βιογραφικών που έχουν προκριθεί για συνέντευξη για τη συγκεκριμένη θέση εργασίας. Στη συνέχεια επιφυλάσσεται να ενημερώσει μόνο τον/την υποψήφιο/α που έχει προκριθεί για τη συγκεκριμένη θέση εργασίας.
Κατά την εξέταση των υποψηφιοτήτων τηρείται απόλυτη εμπιστευτικότητα, ενώ η ΕΛΙΞ διατηρεί αρχείο βιογραφικών, μετά από συναίνεση του προσώπου, για μελλοντικές ευκαιρίες απασχόλησης.

Από την ίδρυση της οργάνωσης το 1987 και μέχρι σήμερα, η ΕΛΙΞ έχει υλοποιήσει πλήθος εθελοντικών δράσεων σε διάφορες περιοχές της Ελλάδας, με αντικείμενο την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος, τη διατήρηση της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς, την προώθηση της μη τυπικής εκπαίδευσης και την ενίσχυση της κοινωνικής συνοχής, ενώ συγχρόνως έχει υποστηρίξει την αποστολή χιλιάδων εθελοντών από την Ελλάδα σε προγράμματα εθελοντικής εργασίας στο εξωτερικό.
Παράλληλα, η ΕΛΙΞ έχει σχεδιάσει και υλοποιήσει δεκάδες κοινωνικά προγράμματα με σκοπό την ένταξη, την προστασία των δικαιωμάτων και την εξυπηρέτηση των αναγκών ευάλωτων ομάδων του πληθυσμού.
