Στο Qaanaaq της Γροιλανδίας η Δανέζικη οργάνωση Association Greenlandic Children οργανώνει ένα πρόγραμμα για παιδιά και αναζητά έναν εθελοντή ή μία εθελόντρια που να μπορεί να καλύψει το πρόγραμμα με φωτογράφιση και βιντεοσκόπηση, από 16 Ιουλίου έως τις 13 Αυγούστου.
Η πρόταση είναι μοναδική καθώς δεν υπάρχουν πολλές ευκαιρίες να βρεθεί κάποιος σε ένα τέτοιο μέρος αλλά και οι παροχές που προσφέρονται είναι δελεαστικές (πλήρης διαμονή, διατροφή και σχεδόν όλο το κόστος ταξιδιού).

This year we are hosting a Work Camp in the north of Greenland, latitude 79 North, 60 km north of the American Military base Thule which some of you might have heard of.
The organization organizing the Work Camp (the Danish organization Association Greenlandic Children) needs a volunteer with great photograph and video skills to participate in the Work Camp.
Association Greenlandic Children will provide the volunteer with free transportation from Copenhagen to Qaanaaq, where the Work Camp takes place. This include going on the US Air Force’s Air Bus from Copenhagen to the Military base followed by a helicopter going from Thule Air Base to the small settlement of Qaanaaq. On top of that Association Greenlandic Children will reimburse 3000 DKK (400 EURO) of the ticket from the home country to Copenhagen.
This is an absolutely unique chance to go to one of the most remote settlements in Greenlandic, seeing the Thule Air Base, going for a helicopter ride across the amazing Greenlandic landscape.
The Work Camp will take place from the 16th of July to the 13th of August this summer. The Work Camp will be about entertaining the 100 children living in this remote place, and to give them the time of their life.
The photographer should takes great pictures for News Papers etc., shoot videos and have the equipment to edit these on the spot. Of course it is not required to deliver edited video before the Work Camp has ended. The photographer should also be willing to participate in the Work Camp incorporating shooting pictures and videos of and with the children the Work Camp will deal with. He or she could make a workshop where the children had to take a picture themselves, or make a small documentary about their lives.
