Οι 14 πρώτες είναι λίγο πιο "συνηθισμένοι προορισμοί" στην Ισπανία, Ιταλία, Γερμανία και Γαλλία όπου έχουν οργανωθεί πολλά ενδιαφέροντα εθελοντικά προγράμματα αυτό το καλοκαίρι και πολλοί εθελοντές μας έχουν ήδη επιλέξει.

Ισπανία
1. ESDA-1018, DONKEY CARAVAN, ENVI ART, 03/08/18 - 24/08/18, 18-99.
This is an amazing project, funded by a successful crowdfunding campaign, which combines art with a strong environmental message! If you are motivated and have good artistic skills, such as dancing, singing, playing musical instruments, painting, etc., then you should definitely have a look at this beautiful workcamp where participants, accompanied by friendly donkeys, will prepare a street theater performance around several villages of the Costa Blanca region, in the province of Alicante. The performance will have a clear environmental message, and participants will have the chance to add their own creativity, by sharing ideas and creating a really spectacular extravaganza in each village they will visit along the way. 2. SVICL03-18, ARBOLES MONUMENTALES ALMANZA 2018, ENVI, 01/08/18 - 15/08/18, 18-30.
This lovely environmental project will take place in an immense and colorful oak forest just 3 km from the medieval town of Almanza, in the North of Spain. In the forest there are five gigantic trees that, according to local legends, defeated the famous Spanish “invincible Armada.”
3. SVICB02-18 ARQUEOLOGIA EN EL YACIMIENTO ROMANO DE CAMES, ARCH, 01/08/18 - 15/08/18, 18-30.
In this archaeological project volunteers will do various activities, such as removing vegetal mantle; initiating and developing archaeological excavation techniques; learning about georeferencing and field drawing, as well as drawing archaeological pieces, among other things.
The workcamp will take place in Valdeolea, a municipality of Cantabria, a privileged area, thanks to its climate, beautiful scenery, and artistic events. Volunteers will participate in evenings out, free time activities, workshops, and in a full-day trip to Santander.
4. SVIGA22-18 , VILAR DE ORDELLES, ENVI, 02/08/18 - 13/08/18, 18-30.
This unique and varied project located in Galicia is particularly interesting for those who are passionate about video and photography, visual communication and web content management. Indeed, volunteers will produce a documentary by using drones to take aerial views of the municipality and will help to establish a website and a virtual route (mapping, location plan and road profile of the route, QR codes with a geolocation with information about flora and fauna, and interesting points). Activities include environmental work along the Route of river Grañal (signaling, weeding, revitalization of the route), and the revitalization of the Monastery of San Pedro de Rocas through the dramatization of its history over the course of centuries.

5. LUNAR 25, INCLUSIVE SUMMER, SOCI DISA AGRI, 27/08/18 - 08/09/18, 21-99.
In this beautiful project you will support a social cooperative that contributes to the development of local community. You will set up a social garden aimed at producing seasonal food for residential services; you will restore and maintain the public park to make it more accessible and enjoyable; and you will organize some trips and workshops with inhabitants and few associations. The objective is to develop a social link with locals beyond physical and cultural differences. At the end of the workcamp the group of volunteers will have the opportunity to make a big party with the whole community! The workcamp is located in Civita Castellana, a town 37 km from Viterbo and 50 km from Rome.

6. LUNAR 23, BAU MELA 2, RENO AGRI, 22/08/18 - 05/09/18, 18-99.
In this project, located in the beautiful island of Sardinia, volunteers will support the work of the association Bau Mela, a non-profit organization which is active under a mountain area in the heart of Montiferru (Oristano) which has breathtaking landscape and great natural value. Some of the principles that inspire the recovery and enhancement of the valley are synergistic gardening, permaculture, alternative energy, energy saving and development of pastoral traditions. The association also runs a study center on pastoralism and farming practices.
International volunteers will work in different activities necessary for the development of natural heritage; and will help in the maintenance and improvement of Bau Mela facilities. They will also have the chance to help to organize the Music festival and the celebration of the Sardinian New Year, a traditional community feast with rural background.

7. ijgd 28317, GROWING PLANTS FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS – BLOMBERG, ENVI, 25/08/18 - 09/09/18, 16-26.
In this environmental workcamp volunteers will help to preserve mountain forests for future generations. Under the supervision of an experienced forester of the Bavarian forest administration, you will plant fir, sycamore, and beech trees in highly sensitive mountain forest areas, in order to enable a new generation of mixed woodland to develop. By participating in the project, you will have the unique chance to gain an insight into the relationships within the ecosystem of a mountain forest and you will learn how sustainable cultivation works. The project location is very interesting, since you will be in the most popular holiday region of Bavaria where there are many opportunities to go on hiking trips, swimming in the Kochel lake, or to take a trip to Munich.
8. ijgd 28328 NATURE CONSERVATION AROUND THE RESERVOIR, ENVI, 31/08/18 - 22/09/18, 16-26.
In this project you will do environmental work, together with a team of international volunteers, in a very beautiful region in Germany which is remote but, at the same time, close to big cities like Cologne, Bonn and Dusseldorf. You will have the opportunity to take day trips and enjoy nature and places of interest.
9. ICJA16, VSS-ILMENAU, ENVI KIDS MANU, 11/08/18 - 25/08/18, 18-26.
In this project, located in Ilmenau, you will do environmental, gardening and manual work and you will live intercultural exchange. Work will always take place outside and in a green surrounding.
10. ICJA13, PEACE BARN ZEMPOW, RENO STUD CULT, 25/08/18 - 08/09/18, 18-30.
This lovely workcamp, located in the nice village of Zempow surrounded by forests, combines renovation work with a study part. Indeed, you will discover about the Peace Barn Association, founded to preserve the knowledge about the successful struggle of a group of citizens against the German federal army plans to use the military training ground called “Bombodrom”. During the project you will meet the first chairperson of the Peace Barn Association, a trainer in nonviolent communication and nonviolent action. She will offer training for everybody who is interested.
11. ICJA15, BEDHEIM CASTLE, RENO ENVI STUD, 01/09/18 - 15/09/18, 18-26.
In this project volunteers are invited to help in the care and preservation of Bedheim castle, by doing painting and cleaning inside or maintaining the garden around the castle. The castle will be opened in the weekend for guests and we can support with doing some service and show an artistic performance. In the last years volunteers showed a dance and played piano music. There will also time to learn about natural beauty, environment, and to do nice excursions to places of cultural and historical interest (e.g. Weimar, the city of Goethe and the concentration camp Buchenwald). We can have discussions and lectures about German history, society, and culture.
12. IBG 44, FRIESENHEIM, GER (Friesenheim), ENVI MANU, 29/09/18 - 13/10/18, 18-99.
Friesenheim is a village with about 13.000 inhabitants in the very South-West of Germany, perfectly situated next to the border to France, not far from Freiburg, Strasbourg and Karlsruhe, as well as at the edge of the Black Forest. The community already hosted a work camp 11 years ago and kept in good memory. In 2018, they would like to repeat the good experience!
Together with local workers, you will help with environmental and manual work. Your contribution will be very helpful for the community and they are very much looking forward to hosting you!

13. ANEC26, A WALK THROUGH ORNE VALLEY, ENVI MANU, 03/08/18 - 17/08/18, 17-99.
For the first time, the town of Joeuf is welcoming an international workcamp to revive the surroundings of the river Orne. The goal of the townhall is to enhance the riverbanks of Orne and to create a nice meeting point for the territory s inhabitants. Moreover, these 2 weeks will be the occasion to create links with the inhabitants, especially the young ones, which will prepare your arrival to expand the intercultural exchanges. The woody valley of Orne hides nice walks near the water, which deserves to be enhanced: work will consist in maintaining the banks (respect of biodiversity, ...) and recycle outside furniture (benches, tables...) to give a new use and to show the possibilities of recovery.
14. ANEC13, BECOME THE LORD OF THE CHETEAU DE POMPEY, RENO MANU, 01/08/18 - 22/08/18, 17-99.
In this project you will help in renovating the Pompey Castle in France along with an international team of volunteers. You will live in Pompey, 10 minutes away from Nancy, city of the Duc Stanislas and its mythical Place Stanislas, considered as one of the top 5 most beautiful squares in the world.

15. NICE-18-08131, KITAKYUSHU (FUKUOKA), KIDS, 13/08/18 - 26/08/18, 18-99.
If you enjoy working with children this project is for you! You will live together with other international and local volunteers, while supporting activities in nature and sharing your culture with children. You will activate children’s independence and creativity by letting them take care of themselves as much as possible and letting them plan for activities. The project is located in Hiraodai in Kitakyushu city, an area famous for its beautiful nature.
16. NICE-18-08282, MIYOSHI2, FEST CULT, 28/08/18 - 04/09/18, 18-99.
If you participate in this project you will actively contribute to the implementation of a sport festival, by preparing and supporting the nautical world game of "Wakeboard" along with local people, in order to activate Miyoshi city. You will do interpretation for athletes and their families, and you will guide the audience, among other tasks.

The project “Yumefukuro” will take place in three different periods in September. It is a part of the SCC (Stop Climate Change) project organized with NAP (Nobel Application of Plant resources) since 2016. NAP is a local NPO which aims to recover natural ecosystem cycles by promoting the regeneration and rebirth of land and amp; sea, and forests. Volunteers will work for trimming bamboo trees that can increase the whole amount of fix carbon in the forest; and for making bamboo charcoal from ones cut in the work, to be used as fuel instead of oil as carbon offset project. There will be the possibility to do other activities, such as harvesting paper mulberry trees, citrus fruits, onions, helping to run marine environmental education for middle school students and ocean life investigation (incl. scuba diving).

If you participate in this workcamp you will be in Okhaldhunga, one of the most beautiful places in Nepal, in the Everest Region. Because of the geographical situation, this area has limited developmental activities and facilities. Unlike Kathmandu, Okhaldhunga has numbers of illiterate people and lacks proper education facilities. Volunteers can make a big difference in daily lives of local children, since they will make classrooms and school areas child friendly by painting, coloring, and renovating. Volunteers will also teach children from poor and marginalized communities basic English and mathematics, health and hygiene, and environmental protection through creative learning methods like art, music, and games. There will also be house visits and meetings with local people as part of inter-cultural learning.

This interesting workcamp aims at proposing deaf children various educational, fun and creative activities for their development; and at creating a child friendly learning environment at school through art work, painting, cleaning, and construction. Volunteers will conduct sessions on experience sharing, creative writing, personal health and hygiene. They will also teach children basic English and Mathematics; assist teachers in the class or organize sport and fun activities; and will do some manual work in the school. This project is a very nice opportunity for those eager to teach or learn the sign language!
23. VINWC18-18, LIBRARY CAMP, KIDS MANU EDU, 19/08/18 - 31/08/18, 18-80, Extra Fee 200 euro.
In Nepal there are not enough trainings for teachers and children on how to use a library. This is why this lovely workcamp takes place! Volunteers will, indeed, help a school manage its library while teaching children to use it on a regular basis. This will be for kids a very fun and creative way of learning. The project will be organized in cooperation the schools of the local community and under the hosting organization’s children’s development program. Volunteers will be welcome to work together with local teachers, children and villagers. The library camp will help children to develop reading and writing skills. Through this project we want to give every student an opportunity to learn, to enjoy reading, and to create new knowledge and understanding through the use of a library.

This beautiful project, located in Tarakeshwor (on the outskirts of Kathmandu District) aims at providing children with opportunities to develop their creativity through art and crafts and promoting friendship, understanding and solidarity among local young volunteers and cross-national volunteers. If you participate in this workcamp you will develop and conduct sessions of drawing, painting, creating gifts and craft or any artistic expression among children, and you will also help to organize various activities, such as origami, collage work, music, dance, etc.

The project “House Rebuilding Support”, located in Tarakeshwor (on the outskirts of Kathmandu District) which takes place in two different periods, aims at helping the neediest families affected by the devastating earthquake taking place on 25th April, 2015. Volunteers will help the victims to rebuild earthquake resistance homes.

In this project you will renovate kindergartens, by painting and decorating classrooms, and you will organize leisure activities for children, while having the opportunity to interact with local people. Your help will be very important, since the village is poor and, although this is the only school of the commune, children’s living conditions are very low and the place really needs to be renovated.
28. SJV1817, EXPERIENCING CULTURE WITH ETHNIC PEOPLE AT BUOC, ENVI SOCI KIDS, 14/08/18 - 25/08/18, 18-99, Extra Fee around 186 euro (5000000 Vietnamese dong).
Buoc - village is a small village of Thai-people, an ethnic group which came from Southern China, with very pure landscape, full of green and with a lot of mountains. In this nice project, you will help local people to do gardening and to repair traditional houses, if needed, you will organize leisure activities for their children and you will live cultural exchange with villagers.
29. SJV1818, INTERACTING WITH KINDERGARTEN KIDS, SOCI KIDS EDU, 10/09/18 - 21/09/18, 18-99, Extra Fee around 186 euro (5000000 Vietnamese dong).
Located in Ben Tre, a beautiful and peaceful city belonging to Mekong Delta, 90 kms away from Ho Chi Minh City, the Kindergarten has around 450 kids aged 3 to 5 years old. Being aware of the importance of English, the school has just launched a new program, in order to provide kids with the opportunity to approach basic English. If you participate in this project you will have the chance to work together with teachers on teaching plans and to interact with kids in English classes, but you will also support other classes, such as Handicraft, Arts and Performances.
30. SJV1819, MEANINGFUL MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL, SOCI KIDS FEST ART, 19/09/18 - 26/09/18, 18-99.
The Mid-Autumn festival is also known as Children's Festival because of the event's emphasis on children. In olden times, Vietnamese people believed that children, being innocent and pure, had the closest connection to the sacred and natural world. Being close to children was seen as a way to connect with animist spirits and deities. On the occasion of this festival, volunteers will prepare performances and gifts for disadvantaged children with various backgrounds, such as street children living in the Fisher Village and the children patients in the National hospital of Acupuncture.
