Τα φετινά θερινά Προγράμματα Εθελοντικής Εργασίας ξεπερνούν κάθε προσδοκία, τώρα μπορείς να διαλέξεις το καλύτερο, τώρα μπορείς να βρεις ακόμη καλές τιμές στα εισιτήριά σου.
Η ΕΛΙΞ έχει επιλέξει για εσάς και σας παρουσιάζει 35 από τα 230 εθελοντικά προγράμματα της Γερμανίας, μια δύσκολη επιλογή καθώς υπάρχουν πάρα πολύ καλές προτάσεις.
Στις επιλογές μερικά προγράμματα είναι για ηλικίες από 16 ετών και όλα είναι διαφόρων θεμάτων όπως εκπαίδευσης (STUDY), εκμάθησης γλωσσών (LANG), πολιτιστικά-καλλιτεχνικά-φεστιβάλ (CULT-ART-FEST), περιβαλλοντικά (ENVI), κοινωνικά-για παιδιά–με αναπηρία (SOCI-KIDS-DISA), και πολλά άλλα.

Περιβαλλοντικά εθελοντικά προγράμματα
1. ijgd 28305, CLIMATE PROTECTION IN THE BAVARIAN MOOR, ENVI, 18/08/18 - 02/09/18, 18-26.
This workcamp gives you the opportunity to make the natural moor lands accessible in a way that makes sense ecologically. You will build hiking trails, weed out bushes, install privacy shields, and work in planting and dam work projects. And all of this with a fantastic view of the mountains!
2. ijgd 78115, OLD BRICKYARD GAHLEN III – GAHLEN, ENVI CONS, 20/08/18 - 09/09/18, 18-26.
If you participate in this project you will contribute to the work of the inclusive institution for environmental education “Interforum e.V.”, a place of encounter and an activity centre for people from different backgrounds, located in an old brickyard. You will participate in various interesting activities, such as ecological vegetable and herb cultivation in permaculture; construction of raised gardening beds and shelters built in traditional straw and clay construction; cultivating green roofs; planting protective hedges; designing a garden of ruins, harvesting; and collecting seeds for cultivation, garden and landscape art (LandArt with natural, retro and recycled material).
3. NIG07, TETEROW II (TETEROW), ENVI AGRI, 01/07/2018 - 15/07/2018, 18-27.
The aim of this project, located in Teterow, a small town in the heart of the charming area "Mecklenburgish Switzerland”, is to help to protect the unique natural reserve through your contribution. Since it is not possible to use common agricultural techniques on site, volunteers will have to do everything manually. Moreover, every meadow around has to be cut and the grass has to be put aside. If you are a nature lover this workcamp is for you!
4. IBG 24, NATIONAL PARK HUNSRUECK I (DEUSELBACH), ENVI, 22/07/2018 - 11/08/2018, 18-99.
Protect nature and support the natural CO2 storage in the National Nature Park Hunsrueck-Hochwald! Under the supervision of several Park Rangers you will realize different measures to keep the water in the moors and to undo the drainage of the area by blocking or filling ditches or by building small wooden barriers. Another task will mainly be to renew wooden fences and elements to protect small trees from damage through the animals.
4b. ijgd 28315, TOGETHER FOR OUR FUTURE - CAMP FOR FUTURE – KERPE, ENVI, 14/08/18 - 28/08/18, 16-26.
If you are passionate about environmental topics and climate protection issues, do not miss this project where young people who want to stand up for climate and for a sustainable future for the planet, can take action. The workcamp offers a number of opportunities to educate yourself about climate protection, global justice, education, and other future issues, as well as to build a network with other likeminded young people. With colorful protest, loud demonstrations, convincing arguments and good vibes, we want to stand up for climate protection. You can take part in protests and in a cultural program or be active in workshops, listen to talks and be part of other activities of the workcamp. In your free time, you will have the chance to make a trip to the nearby cities of Cologne and Aachen.
4c. ijgd 28308, NATURE CONSERVATION IN FRANCONIAN SWITZERLAND, ENVI, 10/09/18 - 28/09/18, 16-26.
If you are a nature lover and would like to work and live on a small island in the middle of a river and with forest all around you, this is a workcamp that you should consider! Volunteers will mainly help with forestry work related to nature conservation. Under the guide of the local forester, you will replant young silver firs and maintain different biotopes in the area around Forchheim.
5. FULL IBG 45, LEIPZIG (LEIPZIG), ENVI EDU AGRI, 12/08/2018 - 26/08/2018, 18-22.
This workcamp will support urban gardening and urban agriculture in the beautiful city of Leipzig. In this video, which has English subtitles, you will learn about the background of the project. These gardens are not only a place to cultivate vegetables and fruits, they also are social places to meet, discuss and learn about sustainable consumption, biodiversity and social development of urban areas. Every day the workcamp will set up a summer outdoor kitchen in the orchard, which will be mainly used for educational activities. At the same time you will prepare workshops for pupils while combining topics of sustainability, gardening and intercultural learning.
6. ijgd 28336, EXPLORING NATURE AND HOLIDAY FUN IN THE FOREST (TRABEN-TRARBACH), ENVI, 07/07/2018 - 28/07/2018, 16-26.
Are you a nature lover who would love to spend time in the forest with like-minded people? Then this is the project where you will have the opportunity to experience nature and create something. You can have an active part in securing idyllic hiking trails, and in building and removing protective fences while maintaining tree cultivation areas. You will immerse yourself in the topic of forest ecology and learn a lot about sustainable management of resources, while discovering the Art Noveau town of Traben-Trarbach.

7. OH-B15, BUILDING WEEKS RATHEWALDE YOUTH ACCOMMODATION HOUSE (RATHEWALDE), CONS, 01/07/2018 - 14/07/2018, 18-70.
Do you want to contribute to renovate the roof of the Youth Accommodation Houses in Rathewalde? Then join us and help us to remove the old roofing, repair the roof construction and reroof the house. Bring your creativity and solutions in order to renovate a nontraditional roof with different combinations on its parts.
8. OH-H03, EUROPEAN HERITAGE VOLUNTEERS (FREUNDENSTADT), ENVI STUD, 14/07/2018 - 28/07/2018, 18-35.
Do you like history and restauration? Then join this workcamp! This project, located in Freudenstadt (Southern Germany), will consist of two parts: the documentation of the interiors of the former Grand Hotel and the restoration of the historic hotel park. The documentation of the interiors, that will be led by a local architect, aims to document the most valuable rooms by drawing, photo documentation and verbal description, in order not only to provide a serious base for later restoration, but also to allow stylistic comparison and art historical research, as well as to protect the decorative elements against theft.
9. FULL ICJA06, MOERENKAMP - HUT GOSLAR (GOSLAR), CONS MANU CULT, 21/07/2018 - 04/08/2018, 18-26.
Help us to renovate the so called “Moehrencamp- Hut”, used by the historic town Goslar as location for its activities for classes, groups from Kindergarten and children. The Old Town of Goslar and the Mines of Rammelsberg are UNESCO World Heritage Sites!
There are different projects where you can help a lot. According to your skills and the interests of the group, your manual work can give valuable contribution. A few examples of work are paving a new path through the wood to the hut; building a new fence around the property; or constructing an innovative toilette system.

During this workcamp, located in the university town of Ilmenau, international volunteers will help to beautify the green areas of the city and will have the chance to experience the social life of the Association for Sport and Experience-oriented Integrative Social Work VSS-Ilmenau, an institution that offers a variety of social, sport and cultural projects for children and young people. Volunteers will cultivate selected green areas and will help to preserve a river bank as a biotope while creating a nice environment for recreation.
Κοινωνικά εθελοντικά προγράμματα
11. ICJA07, ASYLUM CENTRE (GIESSEN), SOCI STUD REFU, 28/07/2018 - 11/08/2018, 18-26.
Do you wish to be helpful in an Asylum Centre for asylum seekers? In this meaningful project, together with refugees you will organize common activities and will prepare contact with university students that are willing to take care of the medical issues of the refugees and to pursue the legal issues of the asylum law. You will also get in touch with students of the University who medicate people without legal status. We especially invite volunteers who are able to speak Turkish, Arabic or Farsi. Besides organizing common activities with refugees, we plan to construct some furniture made from old palettes together. They can be used outside and will be nucleus of a meeting point of the inhabitants of the center.

Do you want to participate in an inclusive project in Oberesch? Join this workcamp with multiple aspects! The local host of this project, VIB der AWO Saarland, is a charity organization offering jobs in workshops for people with mental or physical disabilities and initializing various inclusion projects. The workcamp will support them in their inclusion strategy, by creating new options for activities for their target group and offering new fields of (intercultural) experiences. You will support the middle-age-festival that is taking place in the nearby ruins of a castle and is attracting many visitors. For example, you will help to set up tents and stands and to offer activities for children.
The three main aspects of the project are working, meeting and having fun together!

If you fancy the idea of being a volunteer in the cultural festival of Nagold, have a glance at this workcamp where volunteers will help with preparation of music, dance and international food. Volunteers will also have the possibility to work on various environmental tasks within the community of Nagold.

Do you want to be committed in a light festival this summer? We need your handicraft and creative ideas to prepare a little program as a part of the festival. The project will depend on the dynamics of the participants. If you play a musical instrument it would be great if you could bring it with you!
Καλλιτεχνικά εθελοντικά προγράμματα
15. ICJA09, PEACE CENTER SIEVERSHAUSEN (SIEVERSHAUSEN), RENO STUD ART, 29/07/2018 - 12/08/2018, 18-26.
Volunteers are invited to decorate our seminar house of the Peace Center in Sievershausen. You will work on the interiors by using artistic means (i.e. fabric painting, painting on wood). Volunteers are welcome to show their talents in designing and handcraft. Participants who prefer to do manual work are invited to do some garden work or help with renovating another room in the center. You will learn some essentials of peace work and get basic non-violent conflict management training. Volunteers will have the opportunity to spend an evening in a German family and reverse, the group will invite the people of the village and region to a Meet evening in the rooms of the Peace Center.
16. FULL ijgd 18211, ART INSTALLATION IN THE LENEBURG HEATH (NEUENKIRCHEN), ART, 11/08/2018 - 25/08/2018, 16-26.
Do you want to express your artistical skills? Join us! The foundation Springhornhof in the Leneburg Heath is the organizer of one of the most ground-breaking landscape art projects in Europe. Internationally renowned artists from all over the world have designed more than 40 installations which become part of the landscape here since the 1970s. During the first week of the camp you and your group will help to restore some of those landscape art pieces. During the second week you will build your own art project with the help of a landscape artist. You will do it by using natural materials which blend into the landscape and are in dialogue with it.

Do you like to play with children and want to make sure that children have a great holiday? Would you like to improve your German language skills? Then join us and look after children in Wismar. There will be 40 to 100 children, aged 6 to 12, who will take part in the great holiday play event. Every day has its own theme and with your ideas you can help to fill these days with creative and sport events. Add international flair to the game weeks by contributing games, songs and creative ideas from your home country.
18. ijgd 28330, HELPING OUT IN THE SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE (MERZIG), CONS SOCI KIDS, 21/07/2018 - 06/08/2018, 16-26.
Are you willing to help children, young people and families in need? If this is the case, have a look at this workcamp! The children who live in the SOS Children’s Village are placed in families because their biological parents cannot look after them. This is your chance to help out in the Children’s Village by organizing and carrying out the holiday program for the hosted children. You will take trips together, play games, carry out arts and crafts activities, and contribute your own ideas for games, dances and songs.
19. ijgd 18229, ADVENTURES IN EDEWECHT , SOCI KIDS, 30/06/18 - 14/07/18, 18-26.
If you are a creative person who is interested in historical clothing and beautiful monuments, but also in working with kids, you will love this project! Together with children aged 8-16, your group will revive the Middle Ages and create an adventure to remember in Edewecht, a small place in a beautiful landscape that you can explore by bike, as there are plenty of well-constructed cycling paths! During the first week you will prepare the tented village in small groups, build up tents, restore the castle, design clothes, and create jewelry. During the second week you will then revive the Middle Ages with knights, damsels and jesters.
20. ijgd 28309, ADVENTURE PLAY PARK HOLZNAGELHAUSEN (VEITSHECHHEIM), SOCI KIDS, 28/07/2018 - 12/08/2018, 16-26.
If you love kids and want to spend two weeks with them, join this beautiful project which takes place in the context of the holiday event “Adventure play park Holznagelhausen”, organized by the municipality of VeitshEchheim! Together with other volunteers you will look after about 100 children aged 7-13 for two weeks. You will build wooden huts, offer sports and workshops (football, baseball, making pizza, arts and crafts or what you can think of). The highlight is night in the huts with night-time hike. You can contribute ideas and skills; learn how to organize a youth event; and work in a big team. You can also learn a new language and meet a lot of new people.

Come to Himmelsfels in order to support the activities by working with kids, and become international ambassador of your country. You will be in contact with kids from diverse background and join their activities. It would be helpful to be prepared to offer your own workshop artistically, musically or athletically and bring lots of ideas. In addition, all volunteers will have the chance to introduce their country in an open evening.

For a full immersion in the German language in Berlin, have a look at this project where you will attend German lessons held by a native German teacher. You will get the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in communication and grammar, depending on your needs and wishes. In the free time excursions to Berlin and its surrounding area are planned. You will be asked to communicate only in German in your leisure time to deepen your new learned skills.

MARBURG-MARBACH is an interesting language, manual and environmental project implemented in cooperation with the environmental organization "Nature Friends". Located on a wooded-hill less than 3 km from the centre of Marburg, the workcamp will give you the chance to speak exclusively German during its whole duration. Teachers are partly trained teachers, partly students, lessons are interactive and mostly focused on intercultural topics, aiming first to improve quickly the communication skills of the volunteers. Main work will be in the forest where you will do maintenance of young stands, field mapping of new trees, planting of rare trees, searching and marking of habitat trees, waters care. You will also do various manual works to prepare the area around the house of "Nature Friends" for leisure activities of groups coming from the city.

MARBURG is another language workcamp including German training. The lectures will be two hours every day (excluding Saturday and Sunday when the group will go on excursions). The main topic during the lectures will be intercultural diversity, hence the focus will be given on communication first and then grammar. Teachers will be native speakers, partly trained teachers, partly students. You will also do various manual works to prepare the youth-holiday-camp "Freizeitgelaende Stadtwald" area used for the leisure activities of the municipality. You could, for instance, clear the place, garden, paint, build up/take down tents. You will be in Marburg, an historical and picturesque old university town, 100 km north of Frankfurt/Main.

If you like sport, manual work and want to improve your German, do not miss this this interesting project where you will do manual work to prepare and maintain the area around the Arena in Weingarten/Pfalz, a place with sports facilities where you will be involved in sport activities. Apart from these activities, you will also attend daily lectures, two hours per day (excluding Saturday and Sunday when the group will go on excursions). The basis of the lecture will be first communication and second: grammar. The teachers will be native speakers from University of Mainz.
31. PRO-HO01 SCHOTTEN HOHERODSKOPF GER (Nidda), RENO LANG, 07/07/18 - 20/07/18, 16-26, Extra Fee 160 EUR.
In the rural area named Vogelsberg, one of the oldest European volcanic regions, close to the small town Schotten, you will work with the Youth Hostel Hoherodskopf in cooperation with NATHEA e.V. While speaking exclusively German and attending 18 hours of German-language training, you will do various manual works partly outdoors, partly indoors. You will renovate a large group room inside the hostel. Design and change of room are highly inspiring and innovative. Together with practice of manual skills this work is highly creative. Facilitation will be led by an artistic female designer. Outdoors, you will create a play area close to natural experience with work such as planting, digging, and wood work.

32. ijgd 28320, SAUCEPAN OR MELTING POT? - THE NUERNBERGER LAND AS, RENO CONS, 15/07/18 - 29/07/18, 16-17.
In this amazing project you will have the opportunity to bring and build your craftsmanship skills, be creative and work with wood. Interculturality and encounters with young people from the beautiful town of Hersbruck are the focus of this workcamp. While meeting teenagers from all over the world, you will participate in many exciting activities, such us putting the new clay oven to the test right away and baking delicious pizza; restoring, renewing and beautifying the local youth house; and improving the participation options for people with physical impairments, by building a “roll way”.
