Τα κοινωνικά εθελοντικά προγράμματα είναι αυτά τα οποία προσφέρουν την μεγαλύτερη ηθική ικανοποίηση στους εθελοντές καθώς αυτοί καλούνται να προσφέρουν σε ευάλωτες ομάδες, τις περισσότερες φορές παιδιά.
Παράλληλα οι εμπειρίες που αποκομίζει ένας εθελοντής από την συμμετοχή του σε τέτοιες δράσεις είναι σημαντικές και πολλαπλά χρήσιμες και στον επαγγελματικό του τομέα όταν κυρίως σπουδάζει ή έχει σπουδάσει σε σχετικούς τομείς καθώς αποκτά πολύτιμη εμπειρία.

International volunteers will help the staff of the NGO Rio de Oro with Saharawi children, desert children who normally live in refugee camps in the southwest of Algeria. Aged 6 to 14 years old, most of them have different kinds of disabilities and are not self-sufficient. Once per year they are hosted and receive medical treatment in Italy. In this workcamp you will implement activities for them, feed and dress them, as well as play and go to the beach of Grottammare with them!

The town of Borohradek organizes many events to connect locals - especially young people - with people from different parts of the world, and to develop friendship, tolerance and cooperation. The workcamp is organized in co-operation with PiN, one of the biggest NGOs in Central Europe, engaged in humanitarian aid and development projects. In Czech Republic, PiN targets education and helps people who live in a condition of social exclusion. Volunteers will be based in Usti nad Labem and will work in socially excluded neighborhoods where local children have very limited opportunities during summer holidays. Among many other activities, you will also organize two fun days with games for children and help out during a small dance and music festival in the neighborhood.

This workcamp, located in Iwate (very near to the prefecture of Miyagi), is organized in cooperation with locals. A giant earthquake occurred in the Tohoku area on 11 March 2011 and caused unprecedented damage. Volunteers will help local fishermen, farmers and people damaged by the tsunami, by doing a variety of tasks, such as cutting grass and harvesting, as well as organizing some activities for children in kids centers.
