Η ΕΛΙΞ είναι πιστoποιημένος φορέας με το Σήμα Ποιότητας το οπoίο διασφαλίσει το αναγκαίο πλαίσιο συνθηκών για τη συμμετοχή των νέων σε δραστηριότητες αλληλεγγύης σε συμμόρφωση με τις αρχές και τους στόχους του Ευρωπαϊκού Σώματος Αλληλεγγύης.
Άλλη μια πρόταση της ΕΛΙΞ για προγράμμα EVS! Αυτή την φορά με προορισμό την Σλοβακία! 1 πρόγραμμα- 3 εθελοντές -10 μήνες!

The “Association des Compagnons Bâtisseurs”, aka CBB, is a non-profit, non-political Youth Organisation recognised by the French Community of Belgium. The organisation proposes different kinds of activities, mainly based on volunteering and non-formal education: local and international work-camps, medium and long term voluntary services, leisure time activities for and with disabled people.
EVS Project title: “Volunteering, leisure time and disability” - (2013-BEFR-15)
This program aims to develop a better awareness about disability among the young people, as well as to favor the social participation of (young) people in situation of mental disability.
Tasks: The EVS volunteer will be in charge of the preparation, animation and evaluation of residential week-ends, summer camps and evening activities for groups of young volunteers and people with mental disability. The tasks will be varied and can be organized according to the skills, interests and abilities of the young volunteer.
Sometimes according to the goal of this EVS project focus on inclusion, the EVS volunteer will be involved on the other actions of CBB (trainings, weekend work-camps…)
It is also possible for the volunteer to participate and develop collective activities with other EVS volunteers. For other young volunteers are hosted in other projects in the town of Marche-en-Famenne. The volunteers can sometimes work together, especially during special youth events organized once a year in Marche-en-Famenne: Rock festival, Carnaval, youth services open day, end of exams party…. The volunteers can help to prepare and follow-up these events. In some occasions, they can hold an information stand presenting EVS program and youth exchange opportunities.
Volunteer's Profile:
For this project, CBB requests from the volunteer:
- To be able to communicate in French at a reasonable level as he/she will share a lot of time with people with mental disability which do not know any other language.
- To be highly motivated to work for a better social participation and inclusion of people with disability.
- To enjoy the group life and to be ready to participate in several residential week-ends and camps in company of lots of people.
- Not to be discouraged by office and computer work, as a several tasks in this project also concern the preparation and the evaluation of the activities which are done at the office.
In this EVS project, we also wish the volunteer to develop a personal initiative. Any idea and proposal of new activity launched by the EVS volunteer are welcome!

UNA Exchange - Communications volunteer placement
UNA Exchange manages a range of programs which support international volunteering in Wales and abroad from two weeks to 12 months. Our activities bring together young people from different countries to volunteer their time and energies in a unique way, bringing benefits to individuals and communities alike.
Main Tasks:
- Evaluate and disseminate information about UNA Exchanges activities
- Attend, support and design UNA Exchange events
- Take part in other volunteering opportunities such as leading two week international volunteer projects
- Work in the peace garden
- Contribute to general office tasks involving the recruitment and placing of both incoming and outgoing non-EVS volunteers
Required skills: UNA Exchange is looking for a volunteer with an interest in international volunteering/ social media/digital communication/marketing/ video/ photography and (web) design. It is vital that the volunteer will be able and willing to work on his or her own initiative and use her or his own ideas for inclusion in the project. Experience of working with young people and international volunteering may be useful but is not our foremost criteria. Experience with social media, (web) design, audio-visual communication, promotion and marketing will also be considered an asset.

Η ΕΛΙΞ σας προτείνει ένα πρόγραμμα EVS στη Βαρσοβία, Πολωνία για 2 εθελοντές.
Οι εθελοντές θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να "ενταχθούν" στο προσωπικό της οργάνωσης Robert Schuman Foundation για 12 μήνες, από τον Οκτώβριο του 2015. Θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να οργανώσουν και να υλοποιήσουν παρουσιάσεις σε σχολεία σε όλη την χώρα.

Λίγα λόγια για το πρόγραμμα:
They are looking for two volunteers that would like to join their team and volunteer in their office in Warsaw (Poland) for 12 months (starting date: October 2015).
MAIN TASK: to do school visits in European School Clubs (informal groups of pupils and teachers interested in Europe and international cooperation) across Poland and give presentations and workshops about their own countries (traditions, values, young people lifestyle) or other topics, such as how does the European Union work, what is volunteering, their hobby etc. They are expected to create interactive and engaging presentations or workshops, using non-formal methods of education.
Another task is to hold an EVS info point at the foundation's office and inform anyone who is interested about international volunteering and other youth mobility opportunities offered by the EU. It also includes managing the Info EVS e-mail box, which also means giving information and answering questions about opportunities that EVS gives.
Volunteers write articles about their EVS experience, sharing what they learnt in their work, what interactions they have with other volunteers and what cultural differences/similarities they observed as foreigners in Poland. They also help in managing the foundation's website and social media accounts.
Volunteers' Profile: We are looking for volunteers aged between 18 and 30 years. Volunteers should have strong will to spread information's about what is EVS, the EU and interest in learning how to organize activities and manage projects a NGO. Their interest also should be to travel across Poland, work with young people; to make interactive presentations and workshops, interests for EU institutions and EU foreign Policy, learning Polish language, and helping in the office with every day responsibilities.

1. 2012-DE-56, Auslandsinstitut der Auslandsgesellschaft (2 vols)
The Auslandsinstitut (Foreign Institute) works under the aegis of the Auslandsgesellschaft. As such, it is the nucleus from which the society grew into its modern-day form. The Institute communicates a wealth of information about "foreign" cultures as well as developing and maintaining contacts in numerous other countries. Work with bilateral honorary country circles. They organize discussions, exhibitions, meetings, seminars with people form the both countries. Many possibilities to realize own ideas and projects.
TASKS: The volunteer supports the head of the country group with the planning and running of events. In doing so they learn how to prepare and successfully bring to a conclusion events such as slide shows, discussion rounds, talks and lectures, the so-called country weeks, dance and music evenings. The continual presence of a permanent member of staff ensures the tasks and the learning experiences are individually adjusted to suit the volunteer. Together with their tutor the volunteers themselves can determine the level of work; this may stretch from simple tasks of a manual or technical nature to flexible organisational tasks. The scope of work is very diverse so that they can choose to focus between areas of organisation, medial support or technology, applying their own abilities and their competence to the task in hand.

2. 2012-DE-77 (1 vol) Auslandsgesellschaft
Τhe Auslandsgesellschaft NRW e.V. (www.agnrw.de) in Germany is a big organisation for intercultural exchange in Dortmund, Germany.
TASKS:
Phase 1: Project planning:
-Participation in the organization and execution of culture trips and youth exchanges, according to abilities and interests, becoming familiar with programme planning and compiling, helping organize materials and coordinating, finding suitable participants, answering queries, passing on information to participants and interested parties, assessment, etc.
-Assisting in the planning and execution of youth study trips to Brussels, Strasbourg and Berlin with pupils/students and apprentices; gathering ideas / project planning for Phase 2.
-Working in voluntary Country Associations, according to interests, helping with preparation and execution of events such as the International Christmas Festival, Country Weeks, talks by experts.
-Additional training through public events run by the Intercultural Academy, optional.
-Assisting with the preparation and execution of EVS information events in schools, at youth fairs, European meetings.
Phase 2: Project implementation: e.g. Planning and execution of a youth exchange trip or a trip for European volunteers or students, according to the volunteers’ interests.

Age 20-30. A person who has big interest in intercultural exchange. Very useful are German language skills so that the volunteer can start immediately. (But not precondition). Host organization: GAIA Alentejo – Grupo de Transição de São Luís
One volunteer will be hosted in S. Luís for 12 months, with the objective of supporting the cultural activities at the Lagar place (a former wine press), the one-off activities of the Transition initiative of S. Luís and the ReCo network of local production and consumption
TASKS: Cultural activities at the Lagar place: support the dissemination and documentation of activities, support the preparation and implementation of exhibitions, concerts, debates, workshops, theatre plays..., support maintaining the garden and the built structure of the Lagar
- One-off activities of the Transition initiative of S. Luís: support permaculture activities (vegetable garden and building of ecological systems), support the manufacture of natural cosmetics, participation in the events of the national Transition network
- Activities of ReCo network of local production and consumption: support updating the communication networks, support the preparation of baskets every two weeks, support the organization of the gathering every three months
PROFILE OF THE VOLUNTEER
The volunteer for GAIA Alentejo/ Transition S. Luís should:
- have a clear interest in ecological lifestyles and in reflecting about society, thinking globally and acting locally
- have specific motivation to live one year in a small community (2000 inhabitants) with rural characteristics
- have interest in and ease of learning Portuguese language
- be active in her/his local community and to be experienced in associations or other social movements
- have a personal interest in developing (some of) the following competences: experience in the transition movement, at local, national and international level; knowledge on climate change, peak oil, crisis of the actual financial system; experience in inner transition, organization of local communities, participatory techniques, work methodologies for organizing projects and activities, permaculture and manufacture of natural cosmetics, information and communication techniques.
2. SOCIEDADE RECREATIVA COLENSE

Host organization: Sociedade Recreativa Colense
Sociedade Recreativa Colense is a non-profitable association located in Alentejo, Portugal. Their main goals are the promotion of sports, recreational and cultural activities. The target groups of their activities are young people, from 16 to 30 years, but also adults from 31 to 80 or more years. The regular activities that they organize are for example , football tournaments, all terrain events for motor bikes, chess, cards, checkers and billiard tournaments, music events (including concerts and karaoke’s), traditional games encounters. Other relevant issues are the existing partnerships with the Asylum of Colos (there are among 40 elder people) and with the School grouping (where they are young people (nearly 200) from the ages of 4 to 14 years).

3. ODEMIRA-TE

They are a young organization invested in bringing new cultural and sportive experiences, specially, to the youth of their region, at Odemira, Alentejo, Portugal.
They are invested in the organization of musical events, in a format and range only achieved by them in this region, and alternative sport competitions (skating, surf, bodyboard).
TASKS
- Exploration and promotion of a program/project within the musical education area, in contact with young people (from 3 to 16 years), in partnership with other local associations. The volunteer is asked musical knowledge and at ease in direct work with children and youth
- Support spaces aimed at contact and sharing of experiences of local youth
- Desire to join a dynamic team in the organization of cultural and sporting events
- Desire to work together with other volunteers
- Will in knowing the language, culture, gastronomy and local and national habits
- Prior knowledge of Portuguese or other latin languages.

4. ADMIRA – Associação para o Desenvolvimento da Região do Mira

Since its birth ADMIRA develop activities and initiatives directed to youth people as free time occupation, within the areas of their interest, allied with the purpose of developing the region, and at the same time give the opportunity to youth people who had recently finished his academic studies to develop projects that contributes to the same objectives, interacting in areas connected with local youth problematic, pursuing the idea “ guiding, being guide” as way and methodological intervention.
TASKS
- Cooperation in the registration, documentation and requisition of books and animation in a Local Library with activities designed to different target groups
- Participation in the elaboration of cultural publications
- Participation in the organization, promotion and execution of punctual events within the intervention areas of the organization
- Participation in activities and initiatives of sport promotion and regular practice of fight sports
- Preparation, application and evaluation of plans and activities of animation cooperating with the animation technical team of ADMIRA with kinder garden age children in the kinder gardens of S.Teotónio and Zambujeira do Mar as well as free time occupational activities dressed to children and youth.

The Associação Cultural, Desportiva e Recreativa das Brunheiras is a nonprofit association. All the activities are destinated for the local habitants of Brunheiras zone and surroundings. The projects are detonated to children, youths and elderly population with economic difficulties.

- Organization and maintenance of the social shop
- Support for the free time activities of the childs and youths
- Support for the elderly people during their living together afternoons
- Help in the bar and kitchen services, stock replacement and shopping, etc
- Promotion and support to the theatre group
- Promotion of the weekend activities, hiking, traditional games and traditional dance events

The Humanitarian Association Dona Ana Pacheco, aims satisfaction through cooperation and assistance among its members, non-profitable, the necessities of life and family care for the elderly, pensioners, retired, disabled, youth and children and to the family and even the culture in general, especially the promotion of the principles and practice of associations.
This project is based on recreational activities, sports and cultural with elderly people and some carriers of the institution and the community deficiencies.
TASKS
The volunteer will have to monitorize the planned activities expressed in the Activities Plan of the institution.
PROFILE OF THE VOLUNTEER
- Aim and like to work with elderly people, some with disabilities;
- Taste and desire to live for a year in a rural area;
- Have some knowledge in rural areas and how to work with the targeted audience.

The projects are divided into two categories:
A. Social Projects
1. Perekodu SA
Location: Viljandi, Target group: Disabled people
Perekodu SA is an institution with different services for children in Viljandi County. It has two departments: department for disabled kids and orphanage in Vδikemυisa. Regular activities in Perekodu SA are aimed to provide everyday care and counseling, helping to raise children’s and youth awareness of themselves. It is run in cooperation with the specialists such as therapists, psychiatrists, social workers and youth-police.
Activities: Depending on the volunteers and children’s interests/abilities, following tasks can be adapted in each institution.
- arranging children’s leisure time (sports, games, etc)
- planning and running creative workshops (dance, music, theatre, handicraft, etc)
- looking after children and helping teachers in managing their daily needs;
- presenting his/her own country and culture as a part of the intercultural learning
- assisting to arrange outings and excursions and taking part in those;
- playing with children
2. Ida-Viruuma County's Chamber for disabled people
Location: Jõhvi, Target group: Disabled people
The objective of Ida-Virumaa chamber of disabled people is to support psychologically disabled people in their everyday life, to motivate them for independent living and give a chance to spend their spare time actively.
Activities: The aims and activities for the volunteer in the chamber of disabled people are seen as follows:
- Teaching social skills to the clients (shopping, cooking, cleaning, hygiene etc)
- Assisting in manual work, art and music lessons
- Organizing outings, visits to the places of interest, other similar projects, etc.
- Helping stuff and clients with daily tasks as required
- Occasionally on weekends he/she will assisting the next door clients with their daily needs, as the volunteer will stay in the social apartment, next to some clients
The volunteer will have chance to propose his/her ideas and use creativity in work with clients. On Fridays the volunteer will prepare the next week activities. The staff of the chamber is very flexible and open to new ideas and possibilities, so the division of tasks may be changed and adapted for the interests and skills of concrete volunteer. The working week will have 4 days, about 7 hours each day. Friday is a day to plan next week activities and help the clients at their living place.
3. Tallinna Laagna Lasteaed-Põhikool
Location: Tallinn, Target group: Youth
Tallinna Laagna Lasteaed-Pυhikool combines kindergarten and elementary school. Our aim is to provide education for disabled children and teach them social skills so that they will be able to manage on their own in their future lives.
Activities: EVS volunteer will be supporting the school or kindergarten personnel in looking after the children and running daily tasks such as looking after the children and helping project staff during the lessons and free time, playing with children, arranging children's outings, e.g. culture visits, excursions, hikes, picnics, etc. The volunteers are supposed to render assistance to children between and during the lessons, as well as during different events, such as performances, excursions and etc, and help the staff to organize leisure time activities. We would like to invite volunteers to assist the lessons of such subjects as art and craft, English and physical education. We mainly need their assistance during the breaks and after lessons to organize different indoor and outdoor games with children.
4. Imastu Residential school
Location: Saksi vald, Target group: Disabled youth
Imastu Kool-Kodu is 100% state-owned enterprise and the main area of activity of the organization is providing social welfare services to adults with special mental needs and substitute home and childcare service to children with special mental needs.
Activities: The main task for volunteer in this project is looking after the disabled children, organize different activities to them and supporting the stuff with their work. The work is different in every group, but mostly volunteer help out with feeding, washing, brushing children’s teeth, dressing for the day, sending kids to school, doing activities. The activities for the volunteer in the Imastu are seen as follows:
- looking after the children and helping project staff in teaching them basic work skills
- playing with children
- arranging children’s outings, e.g. culture visits, excursions, hikes, picnics, etc.
- offering extra activities for kids outside regular curricula (puppet theatre, handicrafts workshops, thematic parties, etc.)
- helping to feed children
- assisting with all other required activities
B. Educational Projects
1. Mustamäe open youth center
Location: Tallinn, Target group: Children and youth
Tallinn Mustamδe Open Youth Centre is a municipal organization working on a local level. The main directions of activities are: organizing and developing youth work in Mustamδe΄taking active part in social life concerning children and youth and processes around them, spending time with friends, gaining new skills, developing international relationships through non-formal learning and implementing projects for and with young people΄crime and drug abuse prevention΄co-operation with specialists who work with children and youngsters –teachers, social workers, police etc.΄ developing a system of volunteers to help children from risk families.
Activities: The Centre will provide volunteers with the opportunity to create and realize his/her ideas: a place, children and the youth, needed materials, support from the tutors, experienced tutors, knowledge and skills. It will also be a great opportunity for the volunteer to get to know Estonian country and culture, as the Centre is organizing outings and excursions for the children, and it is possible to
involve volunteer in this as well. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about youth work and youth worker competencies, conflict management, team-work, group dynamics, decision making, communication etc.
2. Lasnam äe Gümnaasium
Location: Tallinn, Target group: Children and youth
Lasnamδe Gümnaasium is a municipal school with the Russian language of tuition. Estonian language is second language for the students.
Activities: The role of a volunteer in the school will be supportive and innovative at the same time. The task of volunteer is:
- to assist students with daily work
- to help local staff in running ( art, culture, language, handicraft, music, media etc) workshops
- if a volunteer has special skills (design, developing personality, playing musical instruments etc.) she/he can organize extracurricular workshops, events with the students
- in order to facilitate the multicultural learning, volunteer should be willing to present his/her own country and culture by introducing songs, games, different forms of activities to the students
- to raise students’ awareness about European values, such as equal opportunities, human rights and democracy, respect for other cultures through open discussions in language lessons
- to raise the tolerance and reduce the prejudices among students as well as working staff.
3. Pirita Leisure Center
Location: Tallinn, Target group: Children and youth
Pirita Leisure Centre is an institution of municipal government of Tallinn city district Pirita. The main idea of the centre is coordinating youth work and social work in our city district to give opportunities for spending meaningful free time in areas of culture, sport and health . There are 3 centers that belong to Pirita Leisure Centre: two youth centers (Kose Leisure Centre and Mδhe Leisure Centre) and Pirita Social Centre.
Activities: Volunteer will be involved in the activities as a full member of our staff. Between the different centers the volunteer will have possibility to work with different target groups (mainly young people) and choose the one she/he likes the best.
Volunteer has the possibility to:
- Volunteer has the possibility to take part of all the scheduled activities made in the centers (art, sport, health, games etc.)
- Volunteer can organize new activities on his/her own initiative (happening every week or month), e.g. language lessons, theatre workshop, intercultural workshops, some hobby workshops; he/she can help the staff to organize the activities in the centre: art lessons, cooking lessons, outdoor activities.
- Volunteer has the possibility to help organizing our big yearly events: in February we have fashion competition and in April there’s a dance competition.
- In the summer period there is a possibility to organize sport event (tennis, volleyball and basketball) and activities in the beach.
- Volunteer can help to organize and run summer camps.
- Volunteer should take initiative to be responsible for a one workshop/training happening at least once a month (or once in a week).
- The volunteer is expected to have innovative approach and suggest new activities
- The volunteer should be able to organize and run different activities and/or create new ones.
4. Võru Kindergarten Punamütsike
Location: Võru, Target group: Children
Kindergarten "Punamόtsike" is a municipality kindergarten in Vυru. Kindergarten works in 11 groups: three groups for small kids: 1,6 to 3 years and seven for children aged 3 to 7. There are 54 teachers and employees.
Activities: The task of the volunteers is to help the kindergarten personnel in their daily work with the children. They can work in one age group or share the work between different groups depending of personal interest and ability. Volunteers will never work alone but under supervision and guidance of kindergarten group teachers. The main tasks are following: participate and help teachers in games or lessons with children, prepare lessons and materials for activities. They can bring songs, games and introduce their own culture and traditions as part of intercultural learning. Prepare festivals or holidays (Christmas, Easter, Independence Day etc): teach songs and dances. The exhibitions about their country or some other country from Europe would be very welcome. Volunteers are welcome to join every activity we organizing either for children or only staff members.
5. Kohila Municipality: Open Youth Center
Location: Kohila, Target group: Children and youth
Kohila Parish Government is interested in raising the awareness of the citizens and thereby supporting the development of our parish as a hole. Kohila Parish Government has several sub-institutions that are aimed to arrange activities for children and youngster, including Open Youth Centre (KANK), Kohila Training Centre, kindergartens, gymnasium, sport complex, Hageri Culture house, where is division of Youth (Youthcentre), etc.
The main activities for the volunteer are foreseen in Kohila Open Youth Centre and in Hageri Culturehouse.
