Η ΕΛΙΞ σας προτείνει ένα πρόγραμμα EVS στη Γαλλία που θα ξεκινήσει την 1η Φεβρουαρίου 2015 και θα ολοκληρωθεί στις 30 Σεπτεμβρίου 2015 (8 μήνες). Η προθεσμία για την αίτηση είναι 31 Αυγούστου 2014.

Η οργάνωση Concordia Auvergne αναζητά 1 εθελοντή να προωθήσει τις δραστηριότητες της οργάνωσης , την συμμετοχή των νέων σε εθελοντικά προγράμματα, την ανάπτυξη των Ευρωπαϊκών προγραμμάτων στο πλαίσιο του Erasmus + και την συνέχιση των διεθνών εθελοντικών προγραμμάτων στην περιοχή. Ακόμα θα είναι ο αρχηγός ενός προγράμματος κατά τη διάρκεια του καλοκαιριού και θα συμμετέχει σε διάφορα trainings.

Η οργάνωση JAUNATNE SMAIDAM /YOUTH FOR SMILE αναζητά 2 εθελοντές από Ευρωπαϊκές χώρες οι οποίοι θα συμμετέχουν στην προετοιμασία και πραγματοποίηση των δραστηριοτήτων, οι οποίες βασίζονται στην οργάνωση δραστηριοτήτων ελεύθερου χρόνου για νέους όπως trainings, outdoor activities, and daily youth centre activities.

Επίσης θα γίνουν συνομαδάρχες σε προγράμματα στη Λετονία, θα προωθούν τον εθελοντισμό στους νέους και θα βοηθούν σε διοικητικές εργασίες.

Η οργάνωση CONCORDIA Rhône-Alpes αναζητά 1 εθελοντή EVS να υποστηρίξει τα μέλη της οργάνωσης στην επικοινωνία, ώστε να παρουσιάζει και να προωθεί τα εθελοντικά προγράμματα του οργανισμού. Σκοπός του προγράμματος EVS είναι να βοηθήσει στην προετοιμασία κατά την περίοδο των workcamp.

Η οργάνωση INEX-SDA αναζητά 2 εθελοντές EVS να γίνουν μέλη της ομάδας και να συμμετέχουν στην καθημερινή λειτουργία του γραφείου, όπως συμμετοχή σε συχνές συναντήσεις (group meetings), δημόσιες ή προωθητικές συναντήσεις, κλπ.

Η μία θέση αφορά τον τομέα του International Volunteering και η άλλη του Education.

Η ΕΛΙΞ σας προτείνει 2 προγράμματα EVS (με δύο θέσεις το καθένα) στην Βαρκελώνη της Ισπανία για την περίοδο, 15 Φεβρουαρίου 2015 έως 15 Δεκεμβρίου 2015. Η προθεσμία για τις αιτήσεις είναι η 25 Αυγούστου 2014.

Οι οργανώσεις COCAT και Iwith αναζητούν 2+2 εθελοντές για τα προγράμματα EVS που θα ετοιμάσουν για το 2015.

Η COCAT αναζητά δύο εθελοντές EVS για την θέση του διαχειριστή εθελοντών (incoming – outgoing) σε συνεργασία με τα στελέχη της οργάνωσης.

H Iwith αναζητά δύο εθελοντές που θα ασχοληθούν, ο ένας στον τομέα της επικοινωνίας και σχεδιασμού γραφικών και ο άλλος με την επικοινωνία και τις διεθνείς σχέσεις της οργάνωσης υπό την καθοδήγηση των στελεχών της οργάνωσης.

H ΕΛΙΞ σε συνεργασία με την μη κυβερνητική οργάνωση De Amicitia της Ισπανίας έχει εξασφαλίσει σας προτείνει ένα πρόγραμμα EVS μικρής διάρκειας αυτό το καλοκαίρι που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Ισπανία. Το πρόγραμμα αφορά νέους ηλικίας 18 με 30 χρονών.

Το EVS πρόγραμμα θα υλοποιηθεί από τις 14/07/2014 – 14/09/2014 για 2 μήνες.

PROJECT
NAME OF THE PROJECT: A Man with a Plan Under the Sun
MAIN TOPIC: Diverse. Campleading or workcamp supporter or Donkey Caravan/Transhumancia

PROJECT DATES:  1 or 2 months (from 1th July till 30th November 2014)

Project: A man with a plan under the sun is a volunteer project in which 13 young people will come to support different projects for De Amiticia during summer season 2014.  Volunteers will be involved in the Alliance Work Camps, but also they will have the opportunity to participate in sheepherding project (Transhumancia), tree planting and street theater (Donkey Caravan project) as well as other work of the Association (apiculture...) according to each volunteer’s desire.

During summer season 2014 De Amicitia will organize 25 workcamps and other projects and will need the support of EVS volunteers to:
1) Be campleader: Mainly leading a workcamp. Open mainly for volunteer with some experience in workcamps.
2) Be Supporter of a camp: supporting the campleader or promoting any of the campaigns in which De Amicitia is involved.  Open mainly for volunteer with low or none experience in workcamps.
3) Be a member of Donkey Caravan: Participating and leading in workcamp ESDA 10. Open for volunteers who have previously participate in Donkey Caravan workcamp
4) Do the Transhumancia, or shepherds walk in October/November for 20 days with sheep from the mountains down to the lower lands.

To support or lead workcamps, volunteers will start participating in a workcamp as normal volunteers or get a training of at least 7-15 days immersed in our activity in the Sierra Norte de Madrid, getting to know the way we work and the project they choose, and participating in practical and theoretical training.

Afterwards, the volunteer will travel to different areas of Spain, supporting and coordinating volunteer camps and other projects, enjoying the intense experiences as leaders of these projects. In this period they will also undertake some work of monitoring and evaluation of projects and also do other activities of non-formal education workshops. The last phase of this volunteer work will include some evaluation and dissemination of the projects. Throughout the project if they wish, the EVS volunteer also will support structural activities of the association, for instance beekeeping, gardening, and others...

It is an ambitious and flexible project that adapts to the volunteer’s desires and capacities aims to involve a higher number of young people in an intense volunteer experience that will impact very positively in our organization and in personal and social development of them.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

This is a very flexible project where volunteers can propose dates (according to our workcamps) when they want to arrive and projects which they want to take part in.

Proposed dates for Greek candidate: 14/07/2014 – 14/09/2014

You can check all the workcamps in the ELIX search machine, look for ESDA projects in Spain, or any combination you might like!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please give your preference in the motivation letter.

Accommodation: During the workcamps you will be accommodated as a normal volunteer, in basic premises, you will need a sleeping bag. Between the workcamps you can come to our main office to Gargantilla del Lozoya and stay at our place or you can travel to the next project and spend some free time visiting interesting spots you want to. De Amicitia is not covering your accommodation cost during free time visits, holiday trips and nights away from the project sites.

FINANCIAL CONDITIONS

EVS allowance giving by De Amicitia to the volunteer during the project or by bank transfer = 105€ per month
Travel reimbursement: 100% travel expenses until the limit of 450,00€

Γενικά

Η ΕΛΙΞ σε συνεργασία με την μη κυβερνητική οργάνωση Afsai της Ιταλίας έχει εξασφαλίσει και σας προτείνει ένα πρόγραμμα EVS, στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος "Here I am" που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Ιταλία για την στήριξη των δράσεων της οργάνωσης Asilo Valdese per Persone Anziane - Μονάδα φροντίδας ηλικιωμένων στο Luserna San Giovanni (κοντά στο Τορίνο).

Το πρόγραμμα αφορά νέους ηλικίας 18 με 30 χρονών. Αντικείμενο του προγράμματος EVS είναι διάφορες δραστηριότητες με ηλικιωμένους.

Το πρόγραμμα θα ξεκινήσει την 1η Νοεμβρίου 2014 και είναι διάρκειας 9 μηνών. Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι πρέπει να κάνουν αίτηση στην ΕΛΙΞ ΑΜΕΣΑ (ΕΚΛΕΙΣΕ)!!! (δείτε στο τέλος του άρθρου).

General

ELIX in collaboration with the NGO Afsai Italy is presenting an EVS programme, under the name “Here I am" with the support of the Asilo Valdese organization – a residencial home for the elderly in Luserna San Giovanni (near Turin).

The programme involves young people aged 18-30 years. The purpose of the EVS programme is to carry out various activities with seniors.

The programme will begin on the 1st of November, 2014 and will end on the 30th of July 2015 – 9 months. Interested participants should apply through ELIX until the 29th of September, 2014 (see at the end of the article).

Proposed activities to volunteers

Specifically they will be involved in the following activities:

- Animation (under the supervision of the animator): cooperation in the management of group activities like: music activities, game activities, manual laboratories.
During these activities the volunteer can help the hosts to improve their interactive capacities through the development of interpersonal relationships. Volunteers will have the chance to propose new ideas and activities connected with their capacities and interests. In carrying out these new activities volunteers will be always supported and supervised by a referent person of the sector in order to facilitate their realization and development;

- Physiotherapy (under the supervision of the physiotherapist): collaboration in the organization of the soft gym group activities, helping the not self-sufficient hosts during the walks and during the soft gym in order to improve their physical conditions;

- Daily Center (under the supervision of the Service’s manager): collaboration in the different animation activities proposed to the daily center’s hosts. Going with the hosts during the transfer from the House to the Asilo Valdese and the other way around with a bus driven by one of the operator;

- “Soft” basic assistance (under the supervision of the coordinator and the staff)): supporting and assisting the non self-sufficient hosts during the meals time. Help the staff in preparing some of the hosts’ beds and collaboration during the tea time.

When having group activities, the volunteers plan their tasks with the Project’s staff. Each volunteer takes over different tasks and accomplish them with the overall supervision of the operators. Some activities can be done by both volunteers, when an extra support is needed and/or when all the hosts are together and only one working group is run.

Volunteers hosted at ASILO VALDESE, will be encouraged to promote and to implement new volunteering activities. 

The host organization as well will create new volunteering opportunities for EVS volunteers.

Accommodation:
Volunteers’ accommodation is an apartment located 800 meters far from the hosting organization.
The house is made up with 2 single bedrooms and 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 living room with TV and stereo.
In the house there is a washing machine for volunteers’ clothes but the bed-sheets are usually washed in the Asilo Valdese’s laundry.
Asilo Valdese beyond a laundry services provides washing/cleaners soaps for the cleaning of the house and personal care soaps.

Food:
In the apartment there is also a kitchen where volunteers can cook their own food but (if they want) it is also possible to have meals in the ASILO, or take the food to the apartment.

Local transport:
During the project Asilo Valdese lend a bicycle to each volunteer who can use it for the whole project length. The town is also very well served with public local transport.

Working Hours:
Volunteer will work from Monday to Friday, for a maximum of seven hours per day.

There will be 2 different working times:
-from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
or
-from 11:45 am to 6:45 pm

The activities previously mentioned will be mainly organized as follows:

- 8:30 am – 11:45 am
hosts transportation from their houses to the Daily Center, physiotherapy activities, basic assistance, entertainment activities

- 11:45 am – 12:30 am
helping the non self-sufficient hosts during lunch

- 12:30 am – 1:15 pm
lunch break

- 1:15 am – 4:00 pm
physiotherapy activities, animation activities, tea time organization

- 4:00 pm – 6:45 pm

Animation activities, Daily Center hosts’ transfer, helping the non self-sufficient hosts during the dinner.

Days off:

Weekends are free and, as foreseen by the EVS Programme, every month volunteers will have 2 extra days off.

During the project, volunteers will be provided with several learning opportunities:

- Linguistic learning opportunities through an Italian language course organized by a professional school present in the area.

- Inter - Cultural learning opportunities through the participation in different cultural events/activities and through visits to different interesting cultural places located in Valpellice and Torino areas; volunteers will also work with other international volunteers arising intercultural sensibility;

- Professional Skills - learning opportunities. Inside the ASILO the volunteer will be trained by a doctor, a nurse, a physiotherapist and an animator. They will provide volunteers with the necessary information about the elderly people’s main problems and show them the correct way to work with the hosts.

H ΕΛΙΞ σε συνεργασία με την μη κυβερνητική οργάνωση Etudes et Chantiers της Γαλλίας σας προτείνει 3 προγράμματα EVS μικρής διάρκειας αυτό το καλοκαίρι που θα πραγματοποιηθούν στην Γαλλία. Τα προγράμματα αφορούν νέους ηλικίας 18 με 30 χρονών.

1. από 01/07 έως 30/09/2014 (3 μήνες), στο Le Mans – Pays de La Loire
The team of volunteers will take part to several kind of activities :
A. Technical activities: environmental conservation, creation and maintenance of hiking paths and gardens, law impact building and renovation work on heritage buildings.
The activities will be supervised by the technical leaders of the organization.
B. Educational activities: Raising awareness on environmental issues and local heritage (with schools, local population, visitors …), link with the local actors. (μάθε περισσότερα)

2. από 01/07 έως 30/09/2014 (3 μήνες), στην Region of Brittany
Our organization aims to raise people awareness about our heritage which also vehicles social connections. Built heritage is a great medium to share and federate people on the history of a territory and its people. Heritage also reflects the cultural diversity of our European communities. The main goal of this conservation project is to make the ‘heritage’ topic more accessible to young people in order to develop the participation of everyone to its conservation.
The team of volunteers will take part to several kind of activities :
A. Technical activities: Conservation work of built heritage on different supports and using different techniques: soil, lime, stone…
The activities will be supervised by the technical leaders of the organization.
B. Educational activities: Raising awareness on built heritage conservation and local heritage (with schools, local population, visitors …), link with the local actors. Enhancement of European culture and exchanges. (μάθε περισσότερα)

3. από 01/07 έως 30/10/2014 (4 μήνες) στο Paimpont - Brittany
To help the creation of the center of scientific culture in rural areas of the Châtenay Mill by the implementation of volunteers' European team for the environment.
The team will aim to:
- Assist in the development, preservation and maintenance of spaces in the area of the Châtenay Mill and around the Châtenay pond.
- Participate to the creation of new facilities around the Châteany pound, such as a wooden bridge.
- Promote environmental actions on the territory (in particular developing biodiversity measurement with participatory sciences protocols).
- Develop relationship between the territory and its inhabitants, in order to open the Biological Station to more visitors (participation to the Science Festival in october). (μάθε περισσότερα)
