Διαλέξαμε για εσάς αυτή την εβδομάδα δώδεκα φθινοπωρινά προγράμματα εθελοντικής εργασίας. Εθελοντισμό δεν μπορείς να κάνεις μόνο το καλοκαίρι αλλά όλο τον χρόνο.
Οι προορισμοί όπως κάθε φορά ποικίλουν, Γαλλία, Ιταλία, Πολωνία και Γερμανία.
Γαλλία
1. SJ53, THE LIEDOT OF L'ILE D'AIX, RENO CULT, 10/09/18 - 01/10/18, 18-90.
This very special workcamp will be implemented in a wonderful place, the island Aix in the Atlantic Ocean. In this lovely project you will do restoration work of a Fort, together with other 10 volunteers from all over the world! You will help local community and you will also be able to enjoy several nautical activities, such as fishing and sailing with local clubs. Pleasures like beach, bike rides by the ocean, beach volleyball and many more are available for discovery. You can also visit some cities like La Rochelle and Rochefort. Leisure time will encourage interaction with inhabitants, who are happy to meet new people!
2. SJ55, IN THE COUNTRY OF D’ARTAGNAN, RENO, 12/09/18 - 03/10/18, 18-90.
For the fourth consecutive year, this international workcamp will take place in the beautiful town of Condom, on the tracks of the famous Santiago de Compostela trail. Brimming with historical monuments, Condom is the perfect destination for old-stone lovers. You will participate in the continuing project of renovation of the town stone walls. Accompanied by a municipal employee, that has followed the project since its beginning in 2015, you will be in charge of the pointing of the fortified walls along the river.
3. SJ50, THE CASTLE IN MONTENDRE, RENO, 03/09/18 - 24/09/18, 18-90.
Each year the town of Montendre, with the help of international workcamps, works to restore its heritage and to take part in intercultural exchanges. The town wishes to preserve and enhance its castle, an important aspect of their heritage identity. This year, you will intervene in the restoration of the ramparts of the castle, among other tasks of renovation. Montendre is 65 km away from Bordeaux and you will have the chance to do various beautiful activities in you free time, such as visiting cities and museums, and going to the ocean. You will also have the opportunity to exchange your culture with the inhabitants and the associations of Montendre.
4. ANEC18, THE FORTRESS OF MONTAIGU LE BLIN 5, RENO, 04/09/18 - 17/09/18, 17-99.
In this interesting project you will contribute to the protection and enhancement of a castle! Within this breathtaking heritage you will do various works of restoration, vegetation maintenance, and many varied tasks. You will also participate in the touristic life of the site, by helping guided visits and organizing a special event for the European Heritage Days on the 15th and the 16th September! Montaigu le Blin is located 30km North from Vichy and 90km North from Clermont-Ferrand in Auvergne region. It is a countryside area rich in historical heritage which you will be able to discover by visiting a few of the numerous castles and medieval cities, or by hiking, going by bike or canoe, according to what the leading team will propose to you.

5. IG 18-08, AGRICULTURE FOR LEGALITY AND SOCIAL PURPOSES, RENO MANU REFU, 03/09/18 - 16/09/18, 16-30.
Since 2004 the non-profit organization "I Girasoli" is involved in social projects promoting hospitality, protection and integration of refugees and asylum seekers. Main aim of the organization is providing refugees and asylum seekers with assistance and work opportunities, as well as sensitizing local community about migration. The organization manages several SPRAR (Protection System for Asylum Seekers, refugees and humanitarian protected) in the province of Caltanissetta, Sicily. Since 2017, they also manage a-9-hectares almonds field, a land confiscated to mafia in which they started a project aimed at reusing confiscated goods for social purposes; offering job opportunities for refugees; and spreading education against mafia. The project involves various factories and social cooperatives settled in the area, for the use of almonds for local food production and organic cosmetics. In the framework of this meaningful initiative, volunteers will support local volunteers and young people from the community centre in harvesting almonds, pruning, wood harvesting, and in creating a fence. They will also contribute to the renovation of the accommodation where they will live.

6. FIYE811, NUMINOSUM FESTIVAL, MANU FEST, 31/08/18 - 10/09/18, 18-35.
If you join this exciting cultural project, you will participate in a vibrant folk festival located in a nice forest area close to Warsaw. It is an excellent opportunity to get to know not only Polish folk dances and music, but also music from other countries in the region, since the festival hosts artists from all around Europe.

7. VJF 6.6, RANIS, RENO CONS, 03/09/18 - 21/09/18, 18-26.
If you are free in September and you feel like doing some construction and renovation works, designing a recreation room, and learning about artisanship while being creative, have a look at this nice project. Far from the touristic routes, you will have the opportunity to discover life in Ranis, a small rural village in the Thuringian Mountains, not far from Saalfeld, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
8. VJF 5.1, SCHNEEBERG 1, RENO ENVI, 24/09/18 - 05/10/18, 18-26.
If you like renovation work have a look at this project where a team of international volunteers will improve the grounds of “KiEZ”, a recreation centre for children and teenagers in the mountains of the picturesque Erzgebirge in the south of Germany.
9. VJF 2.2, BEESKOW, RENO, 14/09/18 - 03/10/18, 18-26.
This lovely project is located in Beeskow, a small place not too far from Frankfurt/Oder and 60 km south of Berlin, surrounded by lakes and forests. If you like renovation activities, you might love this workcamp where volunteers will do various works to paint, build, repair and maintain a very special place, the farm "Kinder- und Jugendhof" where there are animals like a pony, sheep, donkeys, bees etc.
10. IBG 42, KELL AM SEE, ENVI CONS, 03/09/18 - 17/09/18, 18-99.
In this project volunteers will improve the outdoor facilities of a youth education centre located in a beautiful landscape and specifically in Kell am See, a village 30 km from Trier, the oldest German city.
11. IBG 43, MANNEBACH, ENVI CONS, 16/09/18 - 30/09/18, 18-99.
In this interesting workcamp you will contribute to the work of a community that since years is working to improve the life in the village of Mannebach. You will contribute to the local strategy of keeping the village alive by setting up a permaculture garden. Permaculture is a system of agricultural principles centred on simulating or directly utilizing the patterns and features observed in natural ecosystems. This garden will be used as a community garden and an educational garden for children.
12. IBG 44, FRIESENHEIM, ENVI MANU, 29/09/18 - 13/10/18, 18-99.
Friesenheim is a village with about 13.000 inhabitants in the very South-West of Germany, perfectly situated next to the border to France, not far from Freiburg, Strasbourg and Karlsruhe, as well as at the edge of the Black Forest. The community already hosted a work camp 11 years ago and kept in good memory. In 2018, they would like to repeat the good experience!
Together with local workers, you will help with environmental and manual work. Your contribution will be very helpful for the community and they are very much looking forward to hosting you!
