1. CONCF-158, LE MANS SOCIOCULTURAL ANIMATIONS, SOCI KIDS, 09/08/17 - 23/08/17, 18-30.
In this wonderful project, volunteers will create activities to develop local events, as well as organize animations in the district with the local kids and inhabitants. The project is based in the beautiful art and historic city of Le Mans, in the West of France, 50 minutes from Paris by train. A little group of 3 friends can join this project together!
Since this project is funded by the Franco-German Youth Office, there will be a support for travel costs of volunteers, up to 322 EUR for this project!
2. CONCF-133, MAGNAN RESTORATION OF A CHAPEL IN MUD BRICK, 12/07/2017 - 26/07/2017, RENO, 15-17 (Teen camp, Extra Fee 165.00 EUR)
Help to restore the altar of an ancient chapel in mud brick, by using an ancestral technique! Learn about ancient construction techniques and do it yourself, as you were living in another era! The project is located in the town of Magnan, in the beautiful region of Midi-Pyrenees, located in the south-west of France at 59 km from the historical cirty of Auch, the department capital.
3. CONCF-041, DAVAYAT LIME KILNS, RENO, 04/08/17 - 25/08/17, 18-99.
Renovate the outer walls of Davayat’s former lime kilns. Supervised by a technical instructor, you will learn traditional building techniques using local stones and lime mortars.
Volunteers will stay in Davayat, a big village in the Auvergne region at the foot of the volcanic mountains. Situated at around 20 km north of the city of Clermont-Ferrand, it is a wine-producing region which offers many hiking opportunities, canoe/kayak trips and swimming in the lakes, along with several other exciting activities.
4. CONCF-131, AULON INCREDIBLE LANDSCAPE IN THE PYRENEES, RENO ENVI, 07/07/17 - 28/07/17, 18-99
Relax yourself while being immerged in the nature! Help renovate an old wash house in Aulon, a small village where you will find an enchanting group of stone houses perched in the green mountains; the ringing of the bells of the sheep, the pure fresh air of the heights touching your face, in the valley of Aure and 8 km from Arreau historic capital of the valley.
5. ANEC5, MADALEINE S MOUNTAINS: RENOVATION OF A FOREST PATH, 05/07/2017 - 20/07/2017, ENVI, 18-99
In the very heart of the Madeleine mountains, take part in the touristic promotion of the forest path, in a beautiful hilly area (around 1000m high) with wonderful views over volcanoes and mounts of Auvergne.

6. LUNAR SP01, GOALL, FEST / CULT / SPOR, 30/06/17 - 09/07/17, 21-99.
Τhis is a one-week special project dedicated to sport and cultural events: its objective is to raise awareness about gender equality and the rights of the LGBT community through sport. Indeed, sport is used as a tool for overcoming barriers based on race and gender stereotypes. The program will take place in Castelfranco Emilia, the town where tortellini were invented, not far from Bologna.

7. ESDA-3017, LE "ESCARAGOT" CIRCUNFLEXE, ENVI, 17/07/17 - 01/08/17, 18-99 (extra fee 30 EUR)
Do you feel like doing something different this summer but you would like to be close to the beach? Then do not miss this interesting workcamp located in the region of Malaga, a beautiful and lively seaside town in Andalucia, the famous Southern region of Spain where flamenco was born.
Among other activities aimed at increasing people awareness on environmental topics, you will organize a summer camp for local children, and teach them environmental and other principles in English.
8. ESDA1017, DONKEY CARAVAN, ENVI ART, 01/08/17 - 21/08/17, 18-99
If you have good artistic skills (dancing, singing, playing musical instruments, painting,...) or previous experience with dealing with animals, join this unique workcamp where volunteer will prepare an itinerant street theatre show that they will bring in each village of the Costa Blanca (Ibi, Alicante) they will visit along the way. (every year atleast one ELIX Volunteer is part of the Donkey Caravan team, take a look at some of thier experience 2015, 2014).

9. RC-24/17, WOMEN POWER, SOCI EDU, 28/08/17 - 09/09/17, 18-99, (Extra Fee 220.00 EUR.)
Through this project, you can give a notable contribution to women' condition improvement in India. You will educate women on health, hygiene, sanitation, environment and micro-credit, as well as visit visit various humanitarian projects.
You will go to the Solan district, 35 km from Chandigarh city, internationally known for its architecture and urban design. A visit to Shimla will offer an opportunity to see high Himalayan Mountains.
10. RC-23/17, TALKING WALLS/CREATIVE ARTS, SOCI EDU ART, 21/08/17 - 27/08/17, 18-99, (Extra Fee 150.00 EUR.)
Volunteers will do creative activities, such as arts work/painting on wall. Subject will relate to peace and love, global warming, inter-cultural learning, good message through painting on wall for youth and public. They will visit various humanitarian projects and interact with the villagers in Bandh, a small village located in an interior mountainous area 30 km from Kalka and 60 km from Chandigarh. Here, volunteers will have a unique opportunity to live with nature in a peaceful environment, to visit Sikh and Hindu temples. A visit to Shimla will offer an opportunity to see high Himalayan Mountains in this workcamp, as well.

11. FIYE 701, JEDRUS 1, KIDS, 25/06/17 - 07/07/17, 18-99
Ιf you like children and are ready to leave in a month, have a look at this project where volunteers organize free time activities for those children who stay in town during the holidays. The project takes place in Jozefow, a small town in the suburbs of Warsaw, well connected with Warsaw city center and surrounded by the Mazovian Landscape Park.
12. FIYE 712, BOSKI FEST 1, FEST, 04/07/17 - 18/07/17, 18-30, places only for male volunteers.
The theme of this project is a beautiful hippie-enviromental-esoteric-music-family festival in the forest. Volunteers will help in the preparation of the festival, will decorate the area, help local people at their bungalows with some minor garden works or house repairs, and many other creative activities. They will learn what is behind the scene of a four-day event full of concerts, workshops and discussions.
Project location is very charming, as volunteers will stay at the camping resort situated at the outskirts of one of the biggest cities in central Poland - Bydgoszcz, easily reachable by public transport.

13. VJF17-6.4, BUCHENWALD, RENO STUD, 13/08/17 - 26/08/17, 18-26
Volunteers will work at the memorial site of the former concentration camp of Buchenwald, located upon a hill around 10 km from Weimar, the city where Goethe and Schiller worked and lived, but also where the Nazi movement had already in the 1920s a lot of supporters. Any German speaking camp leader is very welcomed to express their interest in leading the project.
14. VJF17-1.2, NEU POSERIN, 28/08/17 - 11/09/17, 18-26
Project dedicated to nature lovers! Spend two weeks in the middle of a natural reserve covered with forests where there are many beautiful lakes. The nearest big village is Krakow am See. Volunteers will do different activities, such as building an apiary and helping farmers, among other tasks.
