Οι προορισμοί αυτοί είναι βεβαίως μοναδικοί και οι εμπειρίες που θα ζήσουν οι εθελοντές θα τους συντροφεύουν για όλη τους την ζωή.
Ταϊλάνδη
1. VSA1811, MAE KHAM POR HOME STAY, RENO EDU AGRI, 12/11/18 24/11/18, 18-80, Extra Fee 250 euro.
This project has been developed to foster sustainable eco-voluntourism at Chang keung village, in the beautiful district of Mae Chaem, 4 hours from Chiangmai city. Inhabitants’ main occupation is agriculture, rice terrace, fruit farm, livestock. Some villagers are still making their own textile, with techniques that volunteers can learn. By participating in this lovely project, you will learn about organic farming, while helping in rice terrace and fruit farm. Moreover, you can teach at the local school by using non-formal education, games, storytelling, art or performance, in order to encourage students to communicate in English. See photos from the camp.
2. VSA1812, Intercultural and language, RENO EDU AGRI, 10/12/18 - /12/18, 18-80, Extra Fee 250 euro.
This project is for you if you love kids and you like the idea of teaching them English. Volunteers will indeed work as English teachers in a school who takes care of disadvantaged and poor kids (7 – 18 years old) in the country side of KhonKaen, one of the 4 major cities of Isan, the northeastern region of Thailand. Have a look at the following two lovely projects concerning important Indian Festivals! The months of October and November host two prominent Indian festivals of national importance. Dates are decided on yearly basis as per Hindu calendar. These camps are especially organized for those volunteers who are interested in Indian history and culture. Besides local festivals, volunteers will have the extraordinary opportunity to learn about Hindu and Tibetan culture, as well as to visit some monasteries.
3. RC-29/18, DUSSEHRA FESTIVAL, FEST, 15/10/18 - 27/10/18, 18-88, Extra Fee 220 euro.
If you participate in this project you will have the opportunity to live the Dussehra (Vijaya Dashami, Dasara, or Dashain), a Hindu festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil. You will be in Chail, a small but internationally well-known town in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh.
4. RC-31/18, DIWALI-FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS, FEST, 29/10/18 - 10/11/18, 18-88, Extra Fee 220 euro.
The Festival of Lights is as important as Christmas for Indians! This amazing festival is a national festivity which is celebrated throughout the country for 5 days. As the previous project, this one is located in the small town Chail, too.
5. RC-32/18 NON-FORMAL EDUCATION, EDU, 12/11/18 - 24/11/18, 18-88, Extra Fee 250 euro.
In this interesting educational project, settled in a learning centre for kids and in an arts and craft centre for poor women, you will teach children through creative educational methods and you will also work with women, in order to improve their entrepreneurial and economic skills. You will live in Nangloi, a suburb on the outskirts of New Delhi.
6. RC-33/18, EMPOWERING WOMEN, SOCI, 05/12/18 - 17/12/18, 18-88, Extra Fee 220 euro.
In this very interesting workcamp you will educate women on chosen topics, such as health, hygiene, environment and micro-credit which will all be the primary focus of our work. You will contribute to women’s empowerment. You will also learn about developmental issues and solutions, and you will visit various humanitarian projects, while interacting with villagers in Baddi, an industrial town of Solan district located at a distance of 35 km from Chandigarh city.
